It was extremely comfortable and has a very high quality finish to the exterior material. It fits her perfectly and the thick protective layer is very easy to clean. Seriously hokas are the only brand that give my feet any relief. What I like best about this style is they'll keep my feet warm & dry. I believe they are also skid resistant, but I'm not positive. Hoka's have a consistent size fit across the different styles. The quality is consistently good. The bondi style has good support & extras cushioning to tender feet. I keep looking for another brand that as good for me as Hoka & I haven't found one yet.

I read all the hype about these shoes being comfortable. I was looking for a comfy shoe that I could do lots of walking in NYC for an upcoming trip. I ordered them in advance so I could break them in before the trip. The were very uncomfortable right out the box. They looked a little weird too. Very wide and thick soles. But I really liked that they didn’t have a mesh fabric on them though, incase NY has some snow, my feet shouldn’t get immediately wet. I tried to loosen the way I tied them. Still hurt around the top of my foot where the tongue met at the ankle. Then I took the laces out of the top lace holes. Much better!! I’ve been wearing them a few hours each day indoors and they are finally breaking in! I’m excited that I will be able to wear them for my trip! ***Just wanted to update this review! I wore them for my trip and walked miles in them each day. My feet never hurt for the week long trip! I was amazed! And my feet stayed dry, even on a rainy day. Highly recommend!

Heard all the reviews about this brand of shoe from fellow restaurant workers. I am now learning it's more about the brand than the comfort. For the cost I expected to be walking on clouds.. it was the complete opposite. Within 2 hours of being on my feet I could barely take it. Convinced I need to break them in. So pushed for a couple days.. but it turns out rather than breaking in the shoes, the shoes were breaking in my feet! After 2 days of excruciating pain and suffering I had to give up. When taking the shoes off it was like being freed from a vice. Maybe try running in wide sizes for the skid resistant work shoes. As a server who is on my feet 14 plus hours a day in a fast paced high end restaurant comfort is the most important factor when looking for the right pair of work shoes. I have found that the last pair of work shoes that were FILA skid resistant 7.5wide before I ordered the hokas. Now incredibly disappointed with my purchase and ridiculous amount of money spent on the MOST uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. So also being the devils advocate I assumed my next pair of shoes would also hurt as bad and that I just need to give them more time to break in... thankfully I was wrong in that assumption after ordering another pair of FILA skid resistant shoes for $40 rather than $200 that i may never get back. And as soon as I slipped them on, Cinderella had found her shoe. Never again will I buy hoka or recommend. How can yall charge so much for such a terrible product?! Work shoes NEED to be COMFORTABLE!

I have purchased a lot of shoes to try and help with my ankles falling inward and all have failed. I am unable to wear a brace so needed a shoe for support. This shoe is just what I needed and does not let my ankles give way. I do believe they will stand the test of time also. A very sturdy shoe with a non-slip sole. It also has arch support. The only downside to them is the weight of the shoe, but for me, it is worth the sacrifice. Would recommend to those with weak ankles.

I hate how much higher these shoes were vs retail price from Hoka. But, I had to have these shoes for school and the Hoka site was sold out. The shoes themselves are great, very comfortable and waterproof like I need for school.
