First time out of the box there was immediate comfort and no break in time. I wore them around for a day before a three mile run and didn’t have any ankle or knee pain. I used to wear ASICS shoes a lot and wanted to try something new, but now I have feeling I’ll be doing HOKAS for now on.

Good walking shoes. It’s narrow and tight, doesn’t feel or look like a $170 pair of shoes though. I have a pair of $75 Under Armour shoes that are as comfortable and fits better than this. I don’t trust the top mesh fabric to last once I start running with these, too thin snd stretchy like my toes will slowly tear and dig holes at the corners. ... show more

Hoka is slowly becoming my favorite brand when it comes to a comfortable gym/jogging shoe. Noticed almost no degradation of the sole. That being said I got a rip on the top of the shoe creating a hole after only 3 months and no idea how it got there.

For some strange reason my right foot gets tired and rubs away I’ve never experienced before with previous Hoka shoes. Jogging and sprinting in the shoes are excellent. I give these particular shoes 4 stars. I really wished I could have utilized them for my 8 hour shift too.

I love my Mach 4s The fit, for me, is much better than the Mach 5s These shoes need no break-in, they're comfortable from day 1 The only thing I don't like is that they wear quickly on the inside/back of my heal.
