Description

One of the hardest working shoes in the HOKA lineup, the Bondi 9 delivers peak plushness for everyday miles. Overhauled from top to bottom, we’ve increased the stack height and added a new premium foam midsole to deliver that soft, resilient ride that’s become synonymous with the Bondi. Elevated with a 3D molded collar and structured knit upper with zonal breathability, this ultra- cushioned cult favorite has been finished with Durabrasion rubber to combat high wear zones.

  • Comfortable, supportive, and eliminated sore legs
Size: 12 Color: Black/Black
This is the second or third pair of these shoes I've ordered and they are fantastic. The sole is quite thick, but they are surprisingly light still. They fit well with a little breaking in, my heel slides a little at first until getting them tightened right and worn in after a couple of weeks. They are breathable so my feet don't get hot and at first it takes a little getting used to for how they are soft when you step but then have a little spring to them. Great shoes for a lot of walking around or standing on concrete floors all day. No more leg soreness since I started wearing them. ... show more

  • The Most Comfortable Shoes I’ve Worn
Size: 10 Color: Grassland/Oyster Mushroom
These are by far the most comfortable running shoes I’ve owned. The cushioning is excellent and provides great support for long walks, standing all day, or everyday wear. They fit true to size, feel lightweight, and help reduce foot fatigue. The quality is outstanding, and they look great too. Definitely worth the investment. I would buy another pair without hesitation. ... show more

  • Maximum Plush Support for Knee and Leg Hardware—Just Make Sure to Buy the WIDE Version!
Size: 8 Color: Black/White
If you deal with heavy lower-body swelling, lower back pain, or have medical hardware and screws in your legs from past surgeries, finding a shoe that absorbs maximum impact is mandatory. This shoe delivers on comfort, but it has a specific fit requirement you need to know about. The standout feature of version 9 is the updated premium midsole, which uses a super-critically foamed EVA. It gives you an extra 2mm of stack height compared to older models. The shock absorption is phenomenal. Walking on a hard treadmill or concrete feels less like a harsh impact and more like a resilient, springy roll. The built-in MetaRocker geometry naturally rolls your stride forward, taking a ton of pressure off your knees, ankles, and lower back during longer 30 to 40-minute sessions. While the cushioning is peak plushness, the standard medium (D width) version of the Bondi 9 is notoriously narrow through the midfoot and toebox. If you have feet that naturally swell after walking, or if you previously had to wear a Wide in the Bondi 8, do not buy the standard width. You absolutely must buy the Wide (EE) or Extra Wide version. Going with the Wide provides the necessary accommodating space so your toes aren't rubbing against the front corners when your feet expand. Pros. Maximum plush stack height delivers elite shock absorption for joint hardware.MetaRocker sole geometry takes the pressure off your lower back and ankles. The 3D molded heel collar holds your ankle stable with zero heel slippage.Knit upper provides excellent zonal breathability to keep your feet cool. Cons. The standard model runs quite narrow, forcing many users to buy the Wide variant. It is a bulky, wide-framed shoe that is optimized for slow, steady recovery paces rather than fast running. For pure impact protection and all-day walking comfort, the Bondi 9 is a gold-standard shoe. Just save yourself the exchange hassle and buy the Wide width right out of the gate if your feet are prone to swelling! Great arch support. Easy to put on. Color is perfect. And easy to clean. ... show more

  • Great looking and fitting shoes
Size: 11.5 Color: Cobalt Blue/Ultramarine
I love these shoes for walking. They are good quality and feel great walking my daily 5 miles. They look great, fit you true to size and the sole offers a wider platform for stability while walking.

  • Great Choice for Extra Wide Shoes
Size: 10 X-Wide Color: Black/Black
I have to have extra wide shoes. One of the few shoes brands that are really extra wide when label as such. If you have to have true extra wide shoes, I recommend this one. I have bought multiple pairs over time. I wear mine pretty much everyday. The durability is less than what I would like for the price. But keep buying them because of the comfort - feet don’t hurt like they do in other shoes. ... show more

  • First time buyer of Hoka!
Size: 10.5 Color: Grout/Neon Yuzu
I'm a first-time buyer of these shoes because my coworkers keep telling me to buy them. They're good for what we do at our job. I've never bought Hoka shoes before! These are good walking shoes, but it's kind of wild that when you buy expensive shoes, they don't give you a very amazing sole. I do feel like this company needs to improve its slip-on technology because it would be very helpful. My biggest negative is standing more than two hours (my feet aren't in humongous pain after that). I need shoes to help me stand for long hours, like 9 to 12-hour shifts! Hopefully, there is a person out there who makes these shoes who understands what I'm saying. ... show more

  • You will not regret it!!! Little to no pain walking all day!
Size: 11 Color: Black/Black
These feel like walking on clouds! My husband has felt a noticeable difference and no longer has foot and heel pain after long hours working and walking on concrete all day. He has a high arch and these fit perfectly and for extra comfort and stability he paired it with the best insoles on Amazon which are callled VALSOLE Heavy Duty Support Pain Relief Orthotics - 220+ lbs Plantar Fasciitis High Arch Support Insoles for Men Women, Flat Feet Orthotic Insert, Work Boot Shoe Insole, Absorb Shock with Every Step. ... show more

  • Another excellent Hoka shoe.
Size: 10 Color: Black/Black
Very cushiony, though less so than the almost pillowy NB 1080. Pre-bent toe box totally removes need of break-in, and is highly flexible. Fit is typical. Good arch support. Looks a bit clunky, and the shoe is heavier than some other offerings. But those shoes don’t have the cushioning present here. Heavier people, or those with bad ankles, knees and/or hips will rejoice. ... show more
