It was very easy for one person to put together. One little corner of a magnet was broken and I used gorilla glue to fix it. But I still contacted support for a new one because I don't know if it will last. They are very cooperative and are sending a new part. I bought this because of my cats. (I have 6) They like to get up on my hutch dresser to sleep and the cat tree I had there to help them up was falling apart. I didn't want to spend a lot on a new cat tree because I have several already. I added a pillow to the top of the cabinet for them to sleep on if they want. I added a scratch pad to the side, both with velcro. Now they can easily get on the dresser, onto the cabinet and then the hutch. And I get to use the insides for bath towels, etc. Dual purpose and much cheaper than a cat tree!! If I had room, I'd buy another. ... show more

My partially disabled husband can't get upstairs (bad back) so we use the small 1st fl bedroom; he does not have enough closet/dresser space for his clothes on 1st floor & piles are always folded upatop the washing machine as the bathroom he gets dressed in is right next to it. The dryer & washer machine is about 55' LONG, and so I got this in white, and laid it horizontal and now have 4 good sized areas for him to stack his Clean T shirts, sweat pants etc! Or U can use for laundry, cleaning items whatever. Thing is I have to see if spin cycle is "too much " for it but it's heavy so think it will be ok & I put the foam pieces that came in the box, under it to avoid noise & scratching. Only downside, I am very handy, 69 yr old woman who can usually easily assemble stuff: this was too heavy and difficult for me; had to hire our handyman but so far I love it and good price! ... show more

Our small (26', no slide) motorhome was terribly designed insofar as storage was concerned. Pantry space was ridiculously small. What was being unused was an uncomfortable plastic jackknife loveseat that, when converted, could sleep at most a small child. So we pulled that out, replaced it with a small glider chair and two of these 3-shelf cabinets. I use it mostly for pantry storage. They were easy to put together, seem sturdy, and the depth is only about 12". They hold a lot of stuff! We bolted them together from the inside and also screwed them to the wall with a couple small L-braces. Wonderful purchase! Good price! We love them! ... show more

I would give it 4.5 stars actualy if I could. overall, I was happy enough with this buy that I ended up ordering another, smaller one. once assembled, its pretty sturdy and at $80 I paid for it - having doors is amazing in this day and age of insane inflation prices. however, be advised that there are some blemishes, holes are not always drilled evenly (I used included hex wrench and didn't force anything, but couple of shelves bucked slightly at the point of the screw, because the hole was drilled at a slight angle. Some shelves inexplicably miss wood grain coating on the bottom, meanwhile the bottom shelf where you will never EVER see the other side - just as inexplicably has it. instructions can be a little sparse at times with illustrations not giving enough detail, so I had to go back to the listing online, just to see for instance which way the magnets should face (I don't have any other furniture with that style of magnetic closure, so I don't know instinctively which way it should be facing) - but once you figure out what goes were - assembly is pretty easy and smooth. and once assembled, it looks great IMO. I wish prices weren't all over the place though, depending on the color of wood laminate, you can end up with $20-30 price difference between the same model. ... show more

I purchased this to lay sideways on counter to hold chips & snacks. I love the colors and the functionality. The screws are not wood screws that will countersink flush. That little detail bugs me but I like the cabinet.

We purchased a second one of these for some extra cabinet storage (not enough pantry/kitchen storage in our place.) Easy to assemble - my teenager assembled this most recent one. It's not the most sturdy thing ever made so don't put super duper heavy stuff in it, but light to medium weight is fantastic. We have some dog and cat treats, paper plates and disposable cutlery, candles, a spare Keuric (one of those one cup ones), etc. It is fantastic for things you don't use every day but don't want to put it somewhere up high and away. ... show more

I bought this unit because I had purchased two of the larger ones and really like them. It was easy to put together because I had already put the other two together. My only complaint is that the pieces of wood/shelves were not labeled. I had to really study the pieces and instructions to figure out which piece was the top and which was the bottom. ... show more

Pleasantly surprised with the quality, design, sturdiness and appearance of the unit. Assembly Instructions better than most, could be clearer on attaching doors to unit. Tip: take note that door hinges have a hole on 1 side. That side must face the interior to be screwed to the door. Note 2: to ease assembly and prevent damage to door veneer, add a tad of dry lubricant to the door hinge groove. Door will slide into the groove easily . Vaseline or handsoap will work if dry lubricant is not available (very light amount of lubricant required. ) Note 3: do not over tighten screws, "wood" splits easily. Use caution if using power tool!
