I use these in a kit that I offer to build a movie prop. Someone recently contacted me showing that their prop does the reverse when the potentiometer is turned. I've confirmed that this signal is switched compared to ones that I've bought in the past. I don't know why it is, but it is. Resistance peaks at a little over 180°, stays there for about 45°, then decreases for the rest of the sweep. I test all of the pots this came with, and it's the same story with each one. Yes, these are cheap, but not worth it if they can't even manage a linear response

If you solder onto these becareful, a little too much heat and they just stop working completely. I use them for whammy bars on clone hero controllers and I've burned up about 5 even when using rosin. Just beware these are cheaply made.
