I REALLY want to like this saddle, because the seat is so comfortable and I love the close contact treeless hybrid idea!!! However, I’ve had a few issues with it. It is stiff, I’ve put probably 10 miles on it hoping it would loosen up and it has a little. With that I can see the potential for it to be a great saddle but because of it’s stiffness it sits super wide at the moment. I’m a little baffled on the length of the knee roll/saddle flap area as to the functionality and reasoning behind the design. This is the reason everyone struggles to find the right girth (I did too), it is SO long and thick. I’m short (5”1’) and the saddle flap length goes down and lands just above my ankle area, so I have to put a lot of effort into tucking my heal under/around to make leg contact. (Wouldn’t recommend to shorter riders). This saddle would be perfect if that part was shorter and if it was easier to break in. It’s got great potential to be a good and comfortable trail saddle but plan on really breaking it in. ... show more

    • Problems getting correct cinch for the saddle - standard western cinches won't fit right.

So comfortable BUT YOU NEED A SUPER SMALL CINCH FOR IT! During cattle moving and roundups I am in the saddle all day, and this saddle would be soooo comfy if I could just get the cinch right - my horse takes a 30" for a regular western saddle and I keep having to buy smaller sizes to try out ... I am now down to ordering an 18" pony cinch and do hope it is small enough to fit the saddle. All buyers need to be aware of this problem!! ... show more

Yes it us comfortable but I can not find a cinch to fit or a way to stop saddle from sliding. The workmanship on some areas is less than perfect. It is ok for a back up saddle but not for every day use.

This saddle is VERY comfortable. You will need a MUCH small cinch as the rigging straps sit much lower on this. Honestly the only thing wrong is it runs SMALL. Found one for sale locally and I went to try it out. It was a 16” which what I usually ride in for a regular western saddle and it get like a 14-15inch saddle. Definitely size up if you can. ... show more
