I purchased these snowshoes under my wife’s Amazon account (Patty Hallee) but I am Mike Hallee and I went with the Men’s Hike 9x30 sized snowshoe because it should provide me with good float on top of the snow for my size and weight. The SV2 binding system is very easy to get in and out of even wearing gloves. The Aluminum crampons under my toe and heal provide excellent stability and traction even on icy and hard packed snow. I would strongly recommend this model snowshoe to any new snowshoer or someone looking to add an additional pair of snowshoes. ... show more

I am 6’4” and 260 lbs so I bought 36” Men’s Hike models. They are well built, and the bindings are tough and easy to use. They work great and are a great value!
