  • AR500 steel is a special high carbon steel hardened to withstand repeated shots, bullets simply bounce off or vaporize upon impact. Targets will last forever with proper use.
  • 1/2" AR500 targets easily withstand rifle rounds up to 338. 1/2" are the preferred thickness for rifles used in heavy Club use or Military / Police training. Ensure speed of bullet is below 2900fps at point of impact to avoid pitting.
  • All targets come painted flat black (for FREE!) to prevent rust and corrosion. White, Orange, and Red Available upon request(for FREE), please contact us before your order ships for color changes
  • Targets come with mounting holes and are ready to hang and shoot as soon as you receive them.

The media could not be loaded. First off to be fair this is definitely thick steel and it seems that it will hold up. The reason for the 2 stars is that when selected the sizes and characteristics in the drop down box there is no size description at all. I will certainly take responsibility that I should of done my due diligence. But when they say small they mean it. For the price it should be bigger. Not the best value for the money. ... show more

I got this steel squirrel for my hubby's B-day for him to practice his slingshot with. I was so surprised by the awesome DING ringing it makes when it's struck. It sounds so nice and loud! This is by far my favorite target it just sounds so nice and is so heavy and sturdy... it will last for a lifetime. Thank You! This little guy is a ball! So much fun. Had held up from .22 to .357 and .223 to .308 without any damage. The rifle rounds were at approx 75 yards while the pistol was within 20 yards

Metal is clean, no sharpe edges, and performs well with chains or the AR500 hooks. It is definitely smaller than you might picture at first, but I’ve grown to love it. I’ve very happy with it and have already bought more cuts of steel from this seller! I’ve shot a plethora of handgun calibers and a few rifle calibers (223 & 45-70) and it has held up great! ... show more

Bought this for a close friend as a birthday gift. Him and I target shoot and hunt together. The look on his face when he could barely lift this out of the box was priceless. As we prepare for deer season, we already have a few dates in the calendar to sight in our rifles and practice with this. Some rough edges and I have not been to the range with it yet but overall quality looks good. We'll see how it handles my .22 Hornet at 200 yds... I've put about 300 rounds on this target so far with .22 Hornet and .223/5.56 and it has held up great.
