I wanted to add some accessories to my new kayak and wanted the flexibility of taking them off if they broke or needed to be upgraded. Rivets would not work for that. Found some at the local hardware store for a dollar each. These were half as much and I had them in know time at all.

If I could give these a no start rating I would. Garbage. They don't work as intended. The metal nut in the rubber disconnects and inturn does not pull the lower half of the well up with it. Do not buy these.

The rubber does not compress ias your tightening the screw it just pulls up the brass nut the rubber needs to be more flexible. Do not buy.
