I needed a nice looking, lightweight and comfortable casual loafer for going to Maui with my wife, and being from the Pacific Northwest, didn't really have any island-appropriate footwear. I read the reviews and figured I'd give the Hey Dudes a shot. Overall they worked out well. They really are light as a feather! They also have a nice look and were pretty comfy for the most part. I tried my usual size and it was a bit looser than I'd prefer, so I tried one size down and that was too small. Ultimately I decided to stick with my normal size and accept the looser fit. Because the laces are decorative and not actually functional, you can't really tighten these things, so you get what you get, kind of like Vans slip-ons. A size in between the two I tried probably would have been perfect but they don't offer in-between sizes. As such, I wore these sparingly, for going out to eat, the Luau we attended, and other occasions not involving lots of walking. The heel slip would have definitely gotten annoying with extended walking. I'd have given five stars if they offered more fit options, but otherwise they're cool and comfy loafers that breathe well in warm weather and are perfect for a chill tropical vacation. Fit is a very personal thing obviously, so you may well find the size that's just right for you. ... show more

Fit perfect. My son is rough on shoes and these hold up for a good while. Comfortable as ever! He wears them for everything. Very lightweight. Color is awesome and doesn't fade.
