Ordered these for two reasons; to see what all the rave was about and also to have a pair of more casual shoes on hand; they definitely exceeded my expectations. First off, measure your foot! These are sized so strange and if I had ordered my regular size they would not have fit. I took the advice of other reviewers and the company itself and measured before ordering. So if you're considering these, grab a pencil, a piece of printer paper, and a ruler. Place your foot on the paper and draw a line at the top of your foot where your longest toe stops and another behind your heel, then use your ruler to measure the length and check your measurements against their sizes; if you're in between their measurements, choose the closest size down for a more snug fit, or choose the closest size up for a looser fit. It's that easy! I am a standard size 8 and my feet are very slender, but my measurements were closer to their size 7 and since I wanted to be able to wear these without socks I ordered the size 7. They fit perfect! I still have plenty of room in these shoes and they are adjustable. By slightly tightening the toggles these fit snug to my slender feet without socks, and loosening them all the way I'm able to wear these with socks as well. Don't overtighten the toggles, it will aggravate the tops of your feet if you do. These are low profile shoes, which is exactly what I wanted. They're not bulky at all and work great with practically any attire. The insoles are nice and thick and offer plenty of support and the shoes do have a slight arch as well. Comfortable for all day wear and they have nice tread on the bottoms that worked great on a rainy day; no slipping or sliding at all. These are very lightweight too. I ordered the blue and they're more of a marbled color, it really pops in the sunlight. So pleased with the style and comfort that I'll be ordering more colors very soon! Highly recommend!

Probably 20 years ago I took a test that told me I’m a loafer girl. I’ve worn a few loafers along the way and probably am more of a boat shoe espadrille girl. These ones are casual but not sloppy & good for those who like boat shoes & espadrilles more than a traditional loafer probably. Kind of comfy. More like a lounge shoe than a walk shoe. I wear 6.5 and opted for a 6, which I’ll do for sandals sometimes (and go up to 7 for boots). So I’d say size down if you’re between. I could probably even put on a pair of thin socks with these.

I have several pairs of Hey Dudes. I realize now that different styles fit my foot differently. These loafers are the best for me. I usually wear 91/2 so I order the size 10. Some might be a little loose but I just put an extra knot in the strings if I can. This pair fit perfectly and very comfortable. Love the color too.

I’ve always wanted to try a pair of Hey Dude shoes but didn’t want to pay full price so I was excited to find these on sale. I have a hard time finding shoes that are wide enough for my feet but these have tons of room!. I wish they did have a way to adjust the shoelaces to make them a little tighter. They are super lightweight and stylish!
