They run big. I read the reviews and went down a size. These are very cool shoes. I almost sent them back. They are very big in the heals and you might as well be wearing flip flops. BUT! I really wanted to keep them. So, I untied the knots (I had to use a small fork to get them undone) and once I did that, I tied them together like normal. I barely had enough to tie them, but it worked and they will still be slip on. I think they look super cute! I will probably order more colors. ... show more

    • Fit Problem and Underwhelming Customer Support
First off, I love the pattern and comfort, but the fit is off. I read reviews and decided to size down. I received the shoes and tried them on immediately as these are my first pair of Hey Dudes and I was so excited when they arrived. I was shocked that the shoes were so loose. I walked around my bedroom and my heels lifted out every single step. I tried tighting the laces but it still happened. Sizing down another size would not work, my toes are so close to the front of the shoe already. I reached out to customer service and got a response but it lacked any advice or any real help. These are super cute shoes! They feel very comfortable on, but unfortunately they were too big. I read the reviews to size down, which I did. I’m a size 7 in most shoes and sized down to a 6. Within the box there’s a foot measurement for this company. I am measuring at a size 5! —- so TWO full sizes down. I will reorder, but sadly the other pair I wanted is now unavailable in that size. Edit; I had order two different colors in the same style and the other size 6 arrived today. It fit much better than the beige ones in the same size. So I’m a little confused. I also reordered a pair in size 5 to feel the fit difference. Size five fits, but rubs a little in my heel, so I’ll stick with the size 6’s. Also the “Leopard Azure” came in completely different packaging with extra shoe strings, while the “leopard beige” (size 6 & 5) came in boxes with no extras. —- so I’m hoping this is a real product. ... show more

So here's the thing. I've been looking at these shoes for months. Ya, they are cute, but $50 for shoes is beyond my teacher budget. Then it happened. Three teachers were wearing Hey Dude. I grilled them on comfort level; teachers need comfort. Yes! they proclaimed, they are comfortable. But I have terrible feet; a pediatrist's dream feet. So I bought the shoes. I really wanted yellow, but thought gray would be more versatile. When I put them on, the clouds parted, the sun shone, the birds sang, I danced around, much to my teenagers' chagrin. They are adorable and so insanely comfortable. There is not a lot of support, but an insole will help. Now I want them in every color! So so happy!!! ... show more
