I am nearly 4 months pregnant and like most, I need to walk a bit each day to stay healthy. We have nothing but suburb sidewalk here so my beloved Toms do not give me the support I need. I needed a shoe that provides good arch support (I barely have an arch myself), look cute, are easy to put on, and I can wear with socks. I did some searching and found these shoes. They surprised me with how roomy they are, and because they don't cater to 1/2 sizes (the one downfall) I just be sure to wear good socks with them. They are super easy to put on, something I will appreciate as my belly grows, and feel very comfortable to walk in. I do about a mile each day in them. Also, they don't feel like they'll slip off when you walk in them, which some slip on shoes feel like sometimes. I have recommended them to my other expecting friends as a shoe that's comfy, supportive, and not an eyesore. Give them a try!

I bought these because one of my friends had on a pair of Ariat's and I thought they were super cute. After searching for them online I found these which look similar, but are half the price! I also have a male friend that owns a pair of Hey Dudes and he had nothing but good things to say about 'em, and most reviews I read about these were good saying how lightweight and comfortable they are. Mine arrived last night and they are cute and lightweight and I am excited to wear them. I did try them on and they fit! I sized down per the reviews as I normally wear 7.5 - 8 depending on the shoe, but the 7's are perfect. Not too big and not too tight.

I bought these as a gift for my daughter in law for mothers day. I have several pairs of Hey Dudes, however this was her first. She absolutely loves them! They are super light weight and great for casual wear. They are comfortable, however there is no arch support in them at all. I have additional arch supports added to each pair of Hey Dudes I own and she had to do the same. After the first wear, by the end of the day, she was complaining of pain in her heel and midfoot.

I purchased the Wendy Grey at Famous Footwear and loved them so much I came to Amazon to order them in black as well. I wear a 7.5 but in shoes like Sanuk and Allbirds which don’t come in half sizes, I wear an 8. I went with an 8 for these as well. I tried a seven in the store and could tell that they would end up hurting my big toe, especially when my feet swell after being in them for hours. The 8 in this style/material fits me. It’s a looser fit but not in an oversized way. It does not slip off my heel and there is only about a centimeter of room in front of my big toe so an 8 was the right choice. That said, the material in these two colors is the thinner, more pliable cotton. I tried on other Wendy colors that were the thicker, stiffer canvas and my heel slid out of an 8. I will probably not buy any other material unless they start making half sizes. I also bought the Hey Dude Eloise Bootie (stiff material) from Journeys and had the same issue where the 8 felt better on the front half of my foot but my heel lifted up when I walked, and the 7 fit the back part of my foot but felt more narrow and snug on the front half which may be ok if you have narrow feet but I have an average foot leaning very slightly wide. I did end up keeping the 7 in the bootie to see how much they stretch, but all this is to say, if you are a half size, just know that the thinner cotton material will fit you differently than any of the other fabrics. In addition to the frustration of no half sizes, the company doesn’t make it clear which colors are the thinner cotton fabric. They list them all under the same Wendy style so you have to look closely at the pictures to see which ones have wrinkling, especially around the tongue to know which is the thinner material. They will also not have a printed lining so that’s another clue. Yes, I recommend. I wore them for three days in a row to walk around on vacation and never had any pain. Good support, well cushioned for shock absorption, lightweight and breathable, plus super cute for a casual look. They just need to make half sizes and separate by material type.

I’m a true size 8 in shoes, but after reading reviews to size down, I did and these size 7’s fit PERFECTLY! I have a ganglion cyst on the top of my right foot and my right ankle swells up often due to spraining it so much as a kid and quite a bit as an adult. To top it off I also have plantar fasciitis in both heels. So needless to say, it’s been hard finding the right shoes that look cute, but also comfortable and good for my feet. I didn’t understand the hype of these shoes until I purchased them on sale and wore them. I have to research how to keep them clean properly as I do not want to damage the material, but besides that I am beyond happy and fully recommend! I will be buying more, but also checking reviews on those because I know other patterns may fit differently as well. My advice is just read the reviews and MAKE THAT PURCHASE! You will NOT regret it!

I bought these as my first pair of Hey Dude shoes in hopes of finding a comfortable shoe to aide my feet of pain. They are a God send! So comfortable and I'm not dying at the end of the day. I bought two more pair and Love them all. I will say, they do not come in 1/2 sizes so, if you're a 7.5 you want to size down to 7 for a normal fit. If you size up to 8, they are roomy but my heel slides and I had to buy heel liners to keep it from sliding out. Still very comfortable, just more wiggle room.
