I didn't know what to expect based on the reviews. My 1st pair of Hey Dudes. The 1st few days I was having serious buyer's remorse, mostly because of the price for such basic shoes. They fit my Fred Flintstone feet perfectly with socks or none. The heels of the shoes do flop (with sound effects) without socks but they don't rub my heels raw & with socks they're perfectly stable. Even without socks & the flopping of the heels I barely notice them rubbing on my heels, which are prone to blistering. I actually prefer these to my walking shoes now & can walk 1.5 miles with ease. They're extremely comfortable & practical. There is pretty decent arch support too, but the sole comes out easily if you prefer other inserts. My feet do sweat in them but I spray the insides & my feet with antiperspirant/deodorant & there's been no issue with odor. I'm glad I kept them, but I do wish they weren't priced so high just because it's a popular brand. ... show more

I’ve only tried the wendy sox. I have 3 pairs now. Two in my reg size 7. The last I ordered a 6. They fit much better. The 7s are fine, though they need tightened a lot. And still move a bit while walking. The 6 are just right. No adjusting. The 7s are pretty loose, and I don’t have wide feet. If you’ve ever worn crocs and know how they loosen, these do the same. Speaking on the Sox. If/when i purchase more, I will get a 6. Besides that, they are super comfortable& lightweight. ... show more

I love these shoes. They are super comfortable and fun to wear. They are easy to slip on especially since I’m on the go all the time. They They offer enough support for walking, but not running. They are perfect for running errands, going to the store, being cute hanging out with friends. Both my fiancé and I have a couple pair of these, different colors. These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've had in decades. I have really wide feet and they fit perfectly. I've worn them walking for miles on both pavement and dirt/ rocks, hiking, to the beach, to the river, and NEVER have they let me down. So light and thin, yet great cushioning. My last one are still great, but I'm ordering another pair in a different color. If you wear half sizes, go down to nearest whole. (7.5 -> 7) ... show more

Wife likes the shoe, but she had to get a size smaller than she usually wears. I have a pair of mens shoes and I wear a 12 to 13. In these Hey Dudes I wear a 13 which is the opposite from my wifes fit. Otherwise great shoes.

I've wanted a pair of Hey Dudes for quite a while but I wasn't sure I wanted to spend so much on canvas shoes. I had some gift cards from an app I use, so I used them and ended up paying $19 for my shoes. Awesome, right? Now I've got wide feet that sort of look like a box, but not quite, kinda like Fred Flintstone. I usually wear a 9 to accommodate my wide feel, but if they're wide I can wear an 8.5. After reading the reviews I ordered my regular size 9s, so imagine my surprise when these puppies were not only too big in length, but too wide! Now I love the look but I'm going to send 'em back for the 8.5. Pros: Cute shoes! Lots of styles and color choices. May be comfortable......? Cons: Expensive. Sizing is off. No real support for your arch. I'm gonna bypass those cons because I can get them cheap, I'll exchange for a smaller size, and I'll put my orthotics in there and be comfortable! Update: I returned the size 9s for a size 8 and it's a perfect fit! ... show more

I am in love! I barely feel like I’m wearing shoes with these on. Very breathable and lightweight. Love the color in person and they go well with so many looks! Would live a little more arch support but nothing an insert can’t solve.

These Hey Dudes are very comfortable. The only problem is they are big in size and wide. I have a wide foot and they are wider than that. They don’t come in 1/2 sizes so I had to go with my normal size and they slip in the back. Otherwise they are great.
