Update: Its been about a month of consistent wear and I still like them very much. The insole isnt special but weirdly very comfortable even for standing for long hours. The lightweight nature of these is another huge bonus. I liked them so much I will def get a second pair soon. The only thing about them you need to be aware of is they are made of breathable fabric so the wind cuts right through. They are not made for winter or wet environments. Still 5 stars for me though. Ive only had these a few days but they seem to be comfortable and they fit well after I readjusted the knots to kind of tighten the top. I normally don’t like shoes that might rub the back of my heel, but these don’t at all! They are literally the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn! They feel like wearing slippers. I now own Hey Dudes in 4 colors because I love them so much. If you put a small footie sock over the sole, you can keep them from smelling if you go siockless! Then just take the socks out and wash them and you don’t have to wear socks with them. Of course you can wear socks with them as well and it doesn’t effect the comfort! I bought these for my grand daughter as her back to school shoes, my grandson got a grey pair for bts. She has worn these almost every day. Only time she's not got them on is because I bought her a second pair of hey dudes. One bonus to these is the fact they can be thrown in the washer and don't fall apart. My daughter and I are not afraid of shoes falling apart by washing them. So far, out of this house hold of 9 people, the 3 youngest (3years, 1.5 & 3 mos) don't have a pair...YET! I love these shoes. they are so comfortable. I bought them for a trip, because I knew that there was going to be alot of walking. they were like I had no shoes on. by the end of the day my feet did not hurt like they usually do. i will definitely be buying more.

I love my Hey Dudes! This was the second pair I bought and I bought them to wear at a tradeshow for work. I figured they would be perfect. I have to admit, they were not. My back was killing me! I have noticed that even if I stand in them for 3-4 hours my back starts to hurt. I love how easy they are to slip on, and I love how they look. They are lightweight and comfortable, but they definitely lack support. Great for wearing around if you are not planning to be on your feet for a long time! ... show more

Length-wise I'm size 7, but usually I get 7.5 because my feet are wide, but these aren't even a little bit tight. These are totally comfy! The first time I wore them I was walking aaallll day on a little trip in the city and they rubbed my heals a little (my socks were very short), but I haven't had any issues since then. These shoes are very comfortable and light weight. I have a narrower foot, but was able to adjust the ties to keep them from slipping. I did have to add an insole, because there is zero support, but I love them in spite of that!
