I’m not young, but I’m also not that old. I’m not ready to wear orthopedic granny shoes. I recently decided I really need to wear shoes that let my toes spread. I wanted something I could slip in and out of easily and walk for long periods of time. These popped up in my search and the style really turned me off at first, but it had such good reviews I decided to try them. I ordered two pairs. The other was the Misty and I already decided to return them upon opening the box because the neutral color I selected emphasized the sole and made it look more like nursing shoes. Then I tried it on… Soooo comfortable I immediately started second guessing my decision to return them. I tried on this pair (Wendy) instead. The speckled sole and busy pattern was funky and kind of not my style, but it was distracting enough to not make it look so orthopedic. It’s light weight. Possibly the lightest shoes I’ve ever owned. You feel like you’re wearing nothing, but better! The sole is quite cushiony and bouncy and I like good arch support. My eyes were telling me I had no business wearing these shoes, but my feet said who cares! I sheepishly wore them to run errands at first and then I found myself preferring these shoes over all else and now I just wear them proudly everyday. I have several pairs of shoes but, these seem to be my constant go to! They’re literally like wearing your favorite slippers outdoors. They’re lightweight. They’re comfortable. They’re easy to get on and off. There washable and quick to look new again. They’re cute. They’re just perfect.

What did I like?!? Everything!! These shows were brand new when I left Arizona for a flight across the country. They were comfortable then - after days of running around with a 4 year old, watching a 9 year old playing football and having a fantastic game- these shoes have held up through it ALL! As a Floridian, I usually live in flipflops and sandals, but when I HAVE to wear shoes, I wear Hey Dudes. They are light, breathable and cushy. Now only if they can make some work-appropriate shoes, it would be perfection. Suggestion for my anti-sock people: wrap the insole with a no-show sock and reinsert. Game-changer. ... show more

Be sure to try on a pair in a store. I typically wear an 8-8 1/2, it says fit half sizes to order up a size, they were way too big so I had to send them back. I went to a store to try some on to know my correct size. I was shocked that in this shoe I wear a 7.
