These do not work well with the short socks, they are much tighter than your normal Heydudes. I have 5 pair and these are the least comfortable.

After breaking both my feet, it's hard for me to find shoes that fit. I've been living in crocs and birkenstocks while my foot heels, which is fine . . . but they really aren't stylish. I got the burgundy color because they were cheaper than the other pairs and I didn't know if I would be able to get them on. Before breaking my foot I wore a size 5, now I usually go for a 5.5 or 6 wide. Not only do they fit my wide and super swollen feet, but the size 6 is actually a little big! Once I put some socks on, I think they'll be fine. If you're looking for a shoe that fits wide - try these. My feet were wide before I broke them and now basically nothing gets over my sausage toes, but these work with lots of extra room. These fit wider than wide Ryka shoes.
