I was super excited about these shoes, and found them to be really comfortable. However after only a few hours of wearing them i noticed that the stitching was coming apart. I'm pretty disappointed.

    • Good and Bad
First off the color isn't as it's listed on the page. I bought the "Fleece Grey" which appear to be a darker grey but they are almost white, or like that standard issue grey sweatshirt. Very light, like twice as light as pictured. Size is an actual size small. I held them up to my Nike 15W running shoes and they are more than an inch shorter. BUT - because of the flex fabric, even though my toe is right up against the front of the shoe, they are comfortable. They ARE comfortable - despite the size and color issue. My advice is to order a size up and just get a pair and see what you get and return as necessary for size and color adjustments. They ARE comfortable. I can't stress that enough. I walked to the store in them out the box and the felt great. Much more padding beneath you than Sanuks. But lighter in weight. ... show more

    • Loose threading oh my!

I bought these as a birthday gift for my husband, his first pair of dudes. He ended up really loving them which was great! The only downfall of the product is we noticed a few loose threads on the material which unfortunately turned into a lot of loose threads only after being worn a couple of times...hoping they don’t fall completely apart after a few more wears! I’ve viewed the exact same shoe in stores and have not noticed the loose threading issue so I’m thinking it may have just been a fluke pair is all and we would still buy another pair in the future. ... show more

    • I Can Dig It
The Wally L's are quite comfortable with a springy insole that's not too bouncy. Design wise their a slight break from what I usually wear being a good bit wider at the toes than my normal Puma, Adidas and Diesel sneakers, still I like the look of them almost as much as the feel. Perhaps most importantly these shoes aren't meant for horseplay, so treat them gently. You can probably get away with lifting heavy items while wearing them but if you think you're going to be playing basketball, jogging or doing anything other athletic you'll soon be buying new shoes. I appreciate that the shoes come with spare laces, although I'd have liked the original pair to be long enough to be tied. Perhaps the spares are longer I'll have to check and update the review. As it stands the initial pair of laces, are tightened via knots on the cone that fix the tightness. It's a simple concept that does much to show why we tie shoes in the way we do. As you can see all my complaints are minor and do very little to dissuade me from recommending the shoe. So if you're looking for a good looking, comfortable pair of shoes that you can wear while having a beer or parading your significant other around you could definitely do worse than these. ... show more

I really like these shoes. I wanted something that I can quickly slip-on when I run out the door and thats what they do. They come with a elastic and a regular shoe lace kind of thing in the box. The sole kinda turned very dark as i stared to wear it even while wearing socks but it doesn't bother me as i wear them every day for every occasion. I like the sole is leather though. One complaint is that the top of the shoe fraes but i just ues some fabric glue to stop that ... show more

If I could give these more stars I would. I bought them for my father who has plantar fasciitis and is on his feet all day at work. He needed a shoe that was able to be dressed up, but also something that would be comfortable. He has not found a good pair of shoes in awhile, and he tells everyone about them and how amazing they are. I’m down grading my previous 3 star review to one star. Against my better judgment, I ordered another pair for my son for Christmas. He has worn them five times and an seam is starting to rip out on the top of the shoe. He loves the comfort and style but I am getting tired of these shoes falling apart so quickly. This is the third pair that I have had to buy for my son this year. They wear out very quick if you are an active teenage boy. Unfortunately he loves the shoes so that’s why I bought another pair.
