When I first seen these kind of shoes (HeyDudes) I thought they were just ugly but though I find them ugly they are super comfortable, fit as expected, and a great all around summer shoe or if you live in hot weather climate. The only thing I wish was better about the shoe was the insoles could last a little longer (they go flat after a lot of use, I walk 5 miles a day during the summer months, so these got a lot of miles on them). ... show more

This is my first pair of hey dudes. Been wanting a pair for a while so I was excited to receive my pair today. However I was immediately disappointed to discover the colors were VERY pastel and not the dark and vivid contrasting colors I thought I was seeing in the pic. I don't dislike them enough to return them but I definitely wouldn't have chosen this color. Just want to warn those who are more particular than myself. That was my only complaint though as the shoes seem well made. The soles don't look like they're prone to separation and they seem to have better grip than what you might expect by feeling the material in hand. They're comfy, very light weight, and breath well. First, this is a comfortable shoe if you use it as a casual around-the-house shoe. It feels nice wearing to the grocery store or similar. It does not have a strong arch support, so I wouldn’t recommend wearing them somewhere you were planning a long walk. Second, although the are mostly comfortable, the material and stitching is rough near the top of my foot. It irritates my skin to the point where I am forced to wear a sock that is large enough to completely insulate my skin from the shoe. In other words, no-show socks are not an option. I’ve gotten lots of compliments for these shoes. People complement the style and they think they look high-quality. Little, do they know that these are very cheap for what you get: the fit is extremely comfortable and it feels like you’re wearing slippers or loafers. They fit nicely with my business casual attire.
