I've purchased two pair of these in a row. The cons: They not exactly tough--at least, not this version. The fabric on the first pair developed a tear within 3 or 4 months. The shoes are short. Your toes will touch the end of the toe box, if you purchase your usual size. If you size up, they will likely feel a bit sloppy. Though they are machine washable, the insoles are not, and they're the component most likely to need washing for any reason other than appearance. Memory foam breaks down pretty quickly. They'll feel cushy until you get a few miles on them. Then they'll feel flat. The Pros: I began this review by saying I've purchased two pair in a row. They look cool. They feel cool. Once you adjust to the feeling of the short toe box, you'll realize the shoe doesn't put pressure on your toes. They're lightweight. They're versatile, both in application and in appearance. They look great with casual shorts or dressier chinos. They're easy to get on and off in a hurry. They're comfortable and attractive with or without socks. They're washable (except for the insole, as mentioned). They fill much the same niche as a boat shoe, minus the cost and weight, with more variations available. Would I buy them again? Yes---as long as they're on sale. ;-)

When I have to make a quick run down the road or go do some brief maintenance in the yard, I hate having to go get socks and shoes to get the job done. As I've gotten older, flip flops don't have enough cushion for my feet, and leave both my feet and knees feeling strained after even an hour of wear (thanks previous knee and ankle injuries...). Not these shoes! These are great for all those small tasks around the house, and you don't have to worry if the day goes longer than you expected because there is enough cushion to ensure you have the support you need for most levels of activity. They run true to size, making them easily giftable for other family members during the holidays, which we've done for both my parents and the in-laws. I got my shoes in last night & while I am working from home today, I threw them on to get a feel of what they would be like on a daily basis. The fabric is nice, soft & lightweight, & the soles are lightweight as well. Barely feels like I have anything on. I won't be going into the office for a while (lots of my team is on vacation) but I will wear these out wherever I can. But early impressions are REALLY good ! Will update if anything changes ...

I just got my Hey Dudes on a recommendation from a friend. Very happy with them. I was looking for a closed toe alternative to my flops. These are perfect. Slips on as easy as flops. Super comfy. Looks good. Breathable enough to not need socks. Only minor issues is the grip isn't quite as good as a tennis shoe, especially on tile. Nothing to worry about for a casual walking around shoe.

These feel great and look great per my husband. They were a randomly selected Christmas gift and he has worn them many times now with and without socks. He has a boxy hard to fit foot because he wears a 9 EEE wide but unbelievably these fit him perfectly- he had his doubts and couldn’t believe they fit when he put them on and walked around. I chose tru to size but maybe for some they would be a little wide, I am not great about men’s widths. 😁 He loves them so much, our daughter bought him two pair for father’s day! He is pumped up about that! Great shoe thus far especially for the price. Hopefully they hold up well. Since they are cloth, I did waterproof spray these and another pair- worked great and no discoloration but obviously be careful what you use to spray them.

Considered buying a pair of these for a long time...never did. I finally ordered a pair, and my first thought was: 'You are an idiot for not getting a pair of these sooner?' Most comfortable things I've ever put on my feet! I will no doubt be buying another pair (or 2) very soon! I purchased these shoes a couple of months ago and wear them all the time while traveling. They are comfortable, slip on and off with ease, and have so far been very easy to clean. I simply throw then in the sink with some dish detergent, give them a little scrub, rinse, and put out to dry. No complaints from me.

Just found out about Hey Dudes -- this is my second pair. I am a size 12 and they fit perfectly. Incredibly lightweight. I like all the different designs. The main trick is finding a good price. They can be anywhere from $28 to $70 and there are often discounts so be patient and wait for a bargain. They look really stylish and I'm looking forward to wearing them instead of my old sandals and slides.
