I was shopping Amazon and other sources for some "slipper" type shoes. At 74 years old, I have problems finding shoes that are comfortable during those times when my feet decide to swell. I came across "Hey Dude" shoes, and my first thought was, "That's a stupid name." But I was struck by the designs, so curiosity kept me interested. The variation on design is incredible. Hundred of design choices within a few different styles, for both men and women. Sizing was made easy, offering a comparison of men and women sizes right there, side by side, i.e. size 12 women = size 10 men. I chose size 10 on all three of my "Wally Sox" selections, and they fit perfectly. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned in all of my 74 years.

But the sizing on these shoes is terrible. It differs from one pair to the next. I tried on so many pairs in the store and each style I’d have to either size up or down when switching due to lack of consistency. I tried these on in the store but found them on Amazon for a better price so I ordered them, the size I had tried on, and these guys are nearly too small upon arrival. Just a heads up.

My husband was very happy with his birthday gift! He'd been wanting a pair of Hey Dude's, but is a hard to shop for size of 14 or 15. I found these on Amazon in the light gray he'd been admiring. Many on the Hey Dude website and other stores didn't carry his larger size, so I was very pleased to find these on Amazon, though as we've found in other brands there seem to be less styles available in a 15. Generally expect to go up one regular size in this brand we've been told. The 15 seemed to work for him as a comfortable fit. Thank you!
