Nice and flat with all the support a well built man will ever need. I think these shoes work best if you have strong joints and leg muscles, and don't need an artificial arch support provided by a shoe. Years ago when I tried them on my knees hurt badly, but since my lower body has become stronger, these hey dudes now feel good. They're best sellers on Amazon for a reason, just wish they were wider. Since Crocs now owns Hey Dude, I'm surprised these shoes aren't as wide as the classic crocs clogs. I have very wide feet and the soles of the 12 wides aren't wide enough but fortunately my toes are able to stick out on the sides with the mesh stretch material. 4E width is hopefully on the horizon as the popularity of hey dudes continue to increase.
