I wear a 12. Period. 95% of the time, actually probably more, if I put shoes on it's size 12 that fits perfect. Amazon says "true to size" so I ordered 12's. Too tight, so I order 13's, too tight and that's where I gave up. I didn't feel much of a difference between the two pairs so I'm doubting 14's will fit. There was a difference but it was tiny. Good luck with your hey dudes but to me they are hey duds.

When I first got the shoes I loved them. They looked great, were comfortable and very lightweight. However within a 10 weeks the fabric started to give out on the heels of the shoes. Of course they are just over a week outside of the 60 day warrantee period so Hey Dudes will not do anything. At first seemed like an inexpensive shoe but if you only get 10 weeks out of them but they cost $60 that is not cheap on my budget.

I ordered size 13 because the description stated “true to size” , the size 13 was about a size 11.5. So I ordered a size 14. The size 14 is small for an actual 13. My toes were crammed in the shoe. I liked the look and weight, but the larger sizes are way smaller than marked.

Most people think you can buy JUST the insole. NOPE! It would be great if you could, its great to go without socks in slip-on shoes but you cant do that without being able to wash them. I took the insole out and washed the shoes, it was great, they were clean and didn't shrink. Eventually you either have to wash the insole (you cant because the foam gets destroyed during the first wash) or wear stinky shoes because you can never wash the insole. I believed the story about being able to buy just the insoles, its not true. Yes, you can buy another brand of insole but I'll just keep wearing Vans if I need to do that.

These are the second pair I’ve ordered. First pair was my true size of an 11 US. I had to return them as they’re too small. These are a 12 US. As the picture shows, the Skechers shoes I recently purchased are an 11 in extra wide. They fit nicely. Since these are new to me, I’ll probably have to come back and update my review. Initial thoughts are that these run fairly wide (amazed that they are almost as wide as the Skechers ew), hopefully have a little stretch, and will hold up for a kick around shoe. Very lightweight, but give me the initial feeling of wearing the old Chuck Taylor style canvas tennis shoes of the 60s and 70s era, when I was a tennis shoe killer with my awful feet…… They aren’t the most supportive feeling of shoes in my initial try on, maybe with some break in time they’ll get better. Not sure with my monster feet they’ll last that long. Just like the days of the cheap canvas shoe, I can still remember destroying them in no time and telling my mom I needed a new pair already. For just fraction over $30 I can deal with that. REMEMBER TO ORDER THEM LARGE.
