After seeing the commercials for the Hey Dude shoes I essentially wrote them off because from the ads they just looked like typical low quality lounging shoes, however I was looking for something to wear around the house and to go out to get the mail etc and came across these and I couldn't resist because this particular design was very appealing to me so I figured what the heck, they are affordable and look great, I'll give them a chance. I can now say that I am glad I did. Honestly it is kind of amazing how well built these are for the price, I did not expect nearly this good of quality at this price point. I've been wearing them almost daily for a few weeks now and can confirm that they are both very comfortable, and thus far, very durable. I am confident they will last a good while, now I certainly wouldn't use these shoes for anything other than lounging around the house, doing some simple tasks in and around the house, but these aren't designed for rugged work use so that should be obvious. For what they are I think they are a great value.
