I love Hey Dude shoes, they're lightweight, they're simple, they're slip on which is a personal favorite, they're excellent shoes for the money. I have quite a lot of praise for them BUT the huge drawback is that these specific ones have holes in the sole, I suspect just to make the shoes really light. These holes introduce a massive drawback: it lets water in. If you step in a puddle or on a wet patch of grass, your feet will be wet for quite a while, and these shoes aren't quick drying. Another issue is that pebbles of gravel or other objects can get stuck in those holes and if they're of sufficient size it makes it uncomfortable to walk in until removed. Otherwise, I love these shoes for running and wearing in the gym, at home, or on dry days. I personally am trying to get closer to barefoot running/hiking and these minimal shoes are helping me stop heel-stepping.

These are great. From day one they've felt like a comfy pair of slippers. Not much arch support so I'll probably not wear them if the day calls for lots of walking but other than that I really love them. Friends and family told us about them and I'm glad they did.

This particular style does not fit or feel like my other Hey Dude shoes. Honestly it feels lighter, cheaper and doesn't fitting the same. It doesn't appear to be a copy but sure feels like one. It does have a slightly different look and the Hey Dude brand is not obvious as it is on others.
