This is my third pair of hey dude shoes, but first pair of their boots. I'm normally a size 12, but the 12 in these boots was way too tight so I ended up exchanging them for a 13 that fits just right. So far they have held up well for work, in rain and a mild hike, but definitely would not hike more than a couple miles in them due to having minimal support. These are definitely style over utility boots. Only negative is the price. Not sure if they're quite worth the price as you can get a better preforming pair of boots for around the same price from keen, timberland, or columbia. I have a terrible time finding comfortable shoes. Plantar fasciitis and previous injuries mean that I really struggle at times with shoes. I was looking for a comfortable boot to wear in winter weather while on vacation this winter. I knew that I would be doing a lot of walking and that choosing imprudently would mean spending my evenings nursing my aching dogs. I wear a lot of Hey Dude loafers so I was pleased to see that they added boots to their lineup and I was not disappointed. I would highly recommend these boots for comfort, value, and appearance. They are not heavy hiking boots, but they did not let me down as I was logging 25k+ steps per day in winter conditions that were not only cold but also rainy and snowy at various points.
