The sizing runs a bit big, as with all of their shoes in my experience, my 4 year old has wide feet and wears a size 12 in other shoes, these 12s are a bit big, which is fine, gives him room to grow into them. They are very lightweight, the bungee closure is easy to expand to get his fat little feet into them, he says they are comfy and happily wore them all day with no complaints.
