I was skeptical until I used it a few days in a row. I sprayed this all over the inside of some leather boots, and inside some sneakers until the linings felt a little damp. I did this the night before I was going to wear the boots. The spray has a scent, but it's not unpleasant and not overwhelming at all. The next morning, the boots were still stinky, but now the smell mixed with the scent of the spray. Not good. I was not impressed. I decided to keep spraying the boots and sneakers each night though and give it more time to work. After about 3 nights of spraying this in these same boots, the bad boot odor was gone. This spray worked! Now that the odor was mostly gone, I made it a routine to spray the boots and shoes after each wearing. This routine seemed to be the winning combo. No more embarrassing stink! So bottom line: This does work, but it might take several sprays for it to do it's thing and really start working. I would buy this again. ... show more

Had a few smelly guitar cases that I couldn't get the odor out of. This cleared it right up after applying it a few times over a couple of weeks. Also, it left behind no odor. I would highly recommend giving this a try.

My son played hockey and if you have a hockey player you know that special smell. This spray does a really great job of neutralizing the odor. He hands his gear in the laundry room and sprays it down after each game and I don't smell it all over the rest of the house or even in the laundry room. It's amazing. Value for money is great and product lasts a long time even with heavy use. Main problem is that is doesn't seem to eliminate odor very well. I work a job where I wear the same boots everyday and use this product on an almost daily basis at night so it can sit overnight. Even with pretty heavy use it doesn't really eliminate odor, the scent of the product is nice and covers odor for a short period of time but not enough for heavy use boots. ... show more

Helps eliminate odors without it's own cloying scent. Gentle on all surfaces including textiles. Very happy with this and will immediately order more when I need to replace.

I have purchased multiple bottles of this spray - it is fantastic! I have used it on many different fabrics and it actually removes odors instead of masking them. My son's bedding from his dorm was stored for months and hadn't been laundered first (not good but it was a last minute rush for move out). I thought the bedding was beyond hope as I washed it and it still smelled. I then sprayed the heck out of it with Hex and let it sit for several hours before doing a pre-soak in more hex - and voila; like new. I am frustrated however that I have to have this shipped to Canada from the US as it isn't available in Canada any longer. A bit pricey but will continue to buy it. ... show more
