I have to say I'm really happy with my purchase....... Funny story, i got the extensions because I'm getting married in April and my curly hair is growing but as it grows it looks shorter haha funny not funny if you know you know lol. Well i put the extensions on and came to my soon to be hubby to ask him what he thought about me getting extensions for the wedding and he said "I love your natural curly hair you don't have to do that" I looked at him and said i have them on hahahahha. He was Like o wow they look so natural. That's how natural they look it was perfect color and curl. Photos: First photo is adding just one extension on each side for thicker hair. I could have added more, but this was plenty for my purpose.Second photo is me without extensions. Third one shows reddish color I received, then how I darkened it. I'm in my 70s with naturally curly hair, but I wanted more thickness without having to tease it. My hair is about shoulder length. When the extensions arrived, they were like tight corkscrews with an almost waxy coating. Whoa! Not what I expected. But I started combing them with my fingers to loosen them up, and then I gently used a wide-tooth comb. Then I washed them with shampoo and conditioner. When dried, they looked much better because it removed the waxy coating. (An email from the manufacturer said they do this to ensure that the curls stay tight in transit. In the first photo, you can see how they loosened up after washing and coloring.) The color wasn't an exact match to my hair (extensions rarely are). They were a little lighter, so I applied hair color to match. After rinsing and drying, they looked much more natural. Then I trimmed a couple of them to match my shoulder-length hair. I'm holding the others aside for times when I want to try longer hair. If you aren't really good at cutting hair, I'd recommend having a hairdresser do this part. If you cut straight across, you risk an unnatural look. And this hair does not grow back, so any mistakes are permanent! I also recommend that you treat any human hair extensions carefully. Only gentle blow drying, for instance, and I'd avoid curling irons, which can burn or create split ends. Remember... your mistakes will not grow out! Store them in hair nets, if possible, to prevent tangling. And never try to dye them to a lighter shade. That will not work unless you bleach the hair first, and that can be a disaster. If you can't find an exact color match, get a shade lighter and then use a darker hair color on it. You can go darker, but you can't go lighter. I also have straight-hair extensions from this maker. I use them when I style my hair in a straight bob. With good care, they've held up for several years. ... show more

So the seller replaced my original set of curly clip ins because they were horrible quality. The second batch I received at no cost were just as bad. I have purchased these extension many times and never had this bad of experience with the clip ins . 16" #4 & #27 (med. brown with Honey Blonde streaks). Overall: OK FOR $51. It's a small batch of extensions, hair is soft but short and thins a lot halfway down, color is beautiful, curl is gorgeous, with a little frizz. Good for main set? NAH. OK to add to your existing set? Sure, OR order 2" longer than you need, and fill in with other a.c you have. Pros: 1. Arrived quickly, 2. Soft hair, 3. Color is beautiful, both the brown and honey blonde are rich and have depth, 4: THE CURLS!!! After cowashing, a light gel and air dry, the curls that form are pretty natural looking. CONS: *most of the cons had to do with the honey blonde hair.* So, 1. Frizz- the texture of the blonde hair is really different from the brown, it fizzes up fluffy. 2. Weak and Thin: the blonde hair very thin and breaks with little pulling. Gray base color is easy to see. 3. I have purchased the natural wave 4/27 clip ins 2x in the past. I thought the hair looked like plastic but once you wash and condition them they look like human hair. The hair takes color perfectly when you tone them. I blow dried straighten and apply other heating tools a handful of times. The hair does get dry and dull over time but overall they lasted at least a year with regular use. For the price the clip ins are worth it in my opinion. With that said I went out on a limb and purchased the tape ins in natural wave color 4. The other reviews are mixed and some reviews are awful. I am anxious but hopeful. Will report back. Update-One week post install: I have washed the hair twice so far. First time no issue. Second time I did notice some knots at the very bottom on some pieces. The ends that knotted were thin and dry to start so I trimmed them. Also a fair amount of shedding. The curl pattern fell and is looser which I prefer. Overall the hair is in decent condition still. I know some reviews stated the tape in hair was trash after a few days so I will report back. Update: It’s been just over 2 weeks and going to remove the hair. Washed the hair in total of 4 times. By the fourth wash it was extremely tangled and matted to the point it was impossible to detangle. After it dried it looked presentable but the thought of the matts and tangles makes me want to remove the hair as I believe it will lead to damage to my real hair. I used only professional quality products, sulfate free shampoo and deep conditioning masks. I added Moroccan oil, braided the hair and wore a bonnet every night so pretty sure it isn’t user error just a quality issue. Overall would not recommend these tape ins but the clip ins are worth it. ... show more
