This wooden tea set is just so adorable! As with some other wooden tea sets I've had, this wood is smooth with no chance of splinters. It it so well made! The wood grain is beautifully visible. The tea pot snout does not have a hole for water or tea, so it is definitely for imagination/pretend only. However the positive with that is that there is no chance of a watery mess when little ones play! All of the pieces are a good size for older children over three. The tea pot lid comes off and is very small and the lemon slice is small too. This is already noted on the packaging and description. Usually if something is too small for my littlest, I'll just tuck it away till their bigger and let them play with the rest that's the right size for them! This would have been my dream tea set as a little girl. It would also make a great gender neutral gift as it's difficult to find a tea set that boys can enjoy as well without all the pink, flowers or sparkles! I love a toy for everyone! It comes with a wooden tray for everything to fit on. The tea bag and lemon slice are adorable! There was no strong odor or chemical smell to the wood. It looks very kid friendly and durable for many, many hours of play!

This is a very well made and attractive wooden tea set. My only negative is that the pieces are much smaller than they appear in photos - something to consider. Ordered this for my toddler grandchild, and I’m sure it will be fun to play with. Very durable material, and all the surfaces are smooth and sealed. If this set was made just a bit bigger, and the cups were big enough to actually use the spoons to “stir” in them, it would elevate the set. Overall, nice set.

Hersity solid wood tea set is nice. This items are good quality to be sure. The colors are subtle and earthy and it has that natural look I love. I am a Pre-K teacher and have many tea sets in the classroom. This one is the tiniest I have seen yet. The handles on the tea cups will surely be challenging for my 3-4 year old students to grasp as they are miniscule. I am expecting these to drop on the floor quite frequently in the classroom. The spoons are also tiny and dwarf the cups, barely fitting in for stirring hot tea. Though everything is tinier than expected, the play value is still there with this set. Students will be working on hand/eye coordination, targeting, fine motor pincer grasp, pre-writing and social skills. For ages 3+ due to small pieces/choking hazard.

I love this little tea set. I've noticed that with our kids simple is always best when it comes to toys, and this set fits that description in the best possible way. The natural wood color is beautiful, and each piece seems quite durable - wooden toys almost always last longer for us. This is a great open-ended pretend play set that will be enjoyed by a wide range of children in our family!

When purchasing toys for my grandchildren, I look for items that are durable, educational and will stand the test of time. This tea set meets all of these criteria. It is made from well finished wood, even the smallest accessories. The pieces fit well in small hands, and there are no rough edges. It begs for open-ended play, which is perfect for toddlers and young children. There are enough pieces to make it interesting, but not so many as to overwhelm. This toy is developed in the Montessori style, making it perfect for imaginative and exploratory play. As a grandparent, these are the kind of toys I like to have at home to provide those precious memories with my grandsons and granddaughter. I look forward to many more tea parties in the future with the HERSITY Toddler Wooden Tea Set! It’s keeper!!

I bought this for my granddaughter for her 2nd birthday. The tea set is good quality wood. All the pieces are smooth so no worries of splinters. The tray is a little on the thin side when it comes to thickness of wood. So not sure how long the tray will hold up to the wear and tear of a 2 year old. This is a cute first tea set that should last for years to come.

Wooden toys always give me pause for littles, rough edges, poor paint quality, but this little set is very nicely done. I has a cute little serving tray and all the dishes needed for a little tea party. Smooth edges and nicely paints, no chips or flaws. Good value for the price, I would buy again.
