I got this dino Goo Jit Zu for my 7 year old, who loves these things, and it's been a hit! We've had a lot of goo jit zus over the last few years, and this one is a bit different, which is nice. This Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Jurassic World Spinosaurus figure is both fun and stretchy. It is easy to pull and stretch and you can let go and watch it launch across the room. My son and I were able to stretch it almost two feet. It's held up fine so far with my son stretching it out multiple times a day. I got this for myself, not a child. I love Jurassic Park and velociraptors, so when I saw this was available, I had to get it. It has been a very handy stress/fidget toy for me when I am sitting at my desk at work or when I am home on the computer. It's a fun toy to squish and squeeze. It's very well made, strong and tough, I don't worry about it breaking and leaking from regular use. It looks cool and it draws attention from coworkers when they see it and try it out. This dinosaur doesn’t stand up. I know that probably sounds like an obvious thing to many reading this, but for this grownup that’s a little surprising. I had stretchy toys as a kid and they still retained an upright position. Not a big deal and I’m not deducting points because of it. Just wanted to mention it because other grownups might find it unexpected. Our little guy isn’t old enough to love his new dinosaur yet. He’s under three and it’s hilarious because he’s fascinated but doesn’t want to get near it, so he giggles but takes a step back if I try to hand it to him. I think that’s actually a compliment. It looks fierce enough to push those innate buttons in his toddler brain that tell him to watch his step. We’ll bring it out again in a few months and see if he’s reached the stage when he finds it super cool. As with the fact it doesn’t stand up, I’m not going to deduct stars or blame the company for our kid being too young to appreciate it yet. On the contrary, it deserves all the stars as it’s definitely well made. That’s an important point for all toys, but especially those that could potentially leak anything. This has a thick exterior skin that still allows tons of stretching and squishing. The head is solid and the jaw opens. Our little guy might not yet be a fan, but I like it. It’s satisfyingly squishy and kept me calm on an otherwise stressful phone call. It’s just the right size to use it as a stress ball, but it looks a lot cooler. ... show more

I got this Jurassic-themed squishy dinosaur toy for my son, and he absolutely adored it from the moment he got it. The toy is super squishy and stretchy, making it really fun to play with. The chomping jaws add an extra level of excitement, and my son loved how it felt in his hands. However, there were a couple of downsides. The top of the dinosaur’s head tended to come off pretty easily, which sometimes frustrated my son during play. It was a bit of a hassle to keep it attached, especially with more rough play. Sadly, the toy only lasted about a month before it broke, so durability could be an issue for kids who play a bit more roughly. That said, it’s a great toy for kids who are gentle with their toys. My son absolutely loved it and carried it everywhere, even to bed, so it definitely brought a lot of joy while it lasted!
