The test kit is very straightforward, and the directions that came with the test are well written, and easy to follow. I especially found the step by step instructions and diagrams (to make sure you are placing the sample in the correct location on the test terminal) to be helpful. The result was VERY CLEAR to read, and there was no ambiguity or sense of "Is it?" involved in this test kit. You will know for sure, one way or the other if the sample is POSITIVE or NEGATIVE, with a very clear and bold bar in the result section. I found the time to also be SPOT ON with the appearance of the result. You MUST WAIT the full 15 minutes for the line to appear. Also, after you have added you sample to the vial jar, and have shaken it thoroughly, you are asked to snap off the top of the vial. I had to remove the plastic cap and THEN snap the top off with a tissue. It worked better for me this way. Note that it is a larger snap piece (maybe 3-4mm of so--you will see the indentation of where the break should occur) that will snap off the top of the vial, so you can add the drop to the white test bar. There is a round space directly below the section where the result bar appears where you will add the liquified sample. Very simple test to use at home, with very clear supportive instructions.
