I am 5'1 and got the regular length because other reveiws said the pants were short and it's true! The regular length for me is perfect so if you're taller than 5'3 I recommend the tall length. The fabric is lightweight although slightly rough, but it's really not bad. Machine washed fine, you do just have to steam it to get it back to its original length bc it shrinks a but. Comfortable. Run a bit small. I normally wear a small and got these in medium. I all got in black and had to hem the black ones but these don’t need to be hemmed (I’m 5’2”). So they appear a little inconsistent. The look like linen but they aren’t quite linen.

This pant arrived in very bad condition. It would have been perfect fit for me until I noticed this didn’t come with a tag, it had creases from waist down, and the worst part is in the wearing out in the crotch. This damage is a result of constant friction… meaning this pant is totally old, used and not worth $33.99, this is not value for money. I really wanted to love these! They were really cute and fit great upon arrival. However, as others have stated, they shrank significantly. I thought if I washed on gentle in cold water and hung to dry that this wouldn't be an issue, but I was wrong! They not only shrunk lengthwise but also the waist is tighter. It shows to steam iron them to "lengthen" again, but this did not work either (at least not for me!), made no significant difference in length. I guess if you're willing to have these dry cleaned they'd be okay? I also thought about ordering in the next size up (both waist and length) but not sure if they'll keep shrinking with each wash and I'm not willing to dry clean. Bummer! I love these pants! I felt so classy because they come in longer inseams. Looked great even in the evening with a black top. White top in the day. I did read in reviews that they shorten upon drying, so I air dried them completely, then put them in the dryer with a damp facecloth to get out the wrinkles. No iron needed for me.
