These shoes have a very soft insole. The outsole has some grip, but in wet conditions, I still slip a little. The look is very polished, but the material feels like an artificial plastic to me. The upper in the toe box has a foam type liner which provides some breathability. The stitching is good, and the elastic where the tongue attaches to the quarter is securely attached (see photo). The toe box is a little narrow, and my little toe gets squeezed so I can feel the edge of the insole. They slip on and off easily, but do not chafe my heel. ... show more

These may be nonslip but they do not say nonslip on the bottom of the shoe and most restaurants won't allow them. For nonslip restaurant grade shoes they need to say nonslip on the bottom. Wasted my money and now had to buy more shoes.
