I've been using these jackets for years. For the most part I like them, the thing that I would change would be the zippers (they're not resistant enough), also the wrist part is not stretchy so it's hard to roll up the sleeves to wash hands. The jacket is really comfortable fits very well for plus size. However, I bought the jacket 7 months ago, washed it maybe twice because I didn't wear it often and the zipper completely came off. I will say if you have a big chest, try to size up as I can’t zip it up all the way because of it.

I'm always on the look-out for a great scrub jacket. I'd ordered several different brands to try on & this Healing Hands Purple Label Dakota Jacket was the winner. This was best for me due to: the pockets (deep, large pockets--stuff does not fall out), fabric is a good weight (same fabric as the matching scrubs), the sleeves can be pushed up & stay up (does not have "knit cuffs"..I hate knit cuffs which discolor & lose their elastic properties over a few washings), zippered front (buttons will typically discolor & colored snap paint will chip off) and its a professional looking jacket. I've had 2 Healing Hands Purple Label Dakota Jackets Size Medium in "Black" color since Oct 2020 doing 12 hr shifts 5 days a week & the jackets are still looking good. Because the jackets were so durable, I then ordered Healing Hands Purple Label scrub tops & pants to try out.....thats another adventure/mis-adventure to find the right styles within this brand. ... show more
