I am a child of the pre skinny jeans era and when jeans were cotton with zero spandex in them. I am sick of skin tight jeans that you struggle to get in and out of, that are so tight in the thighs and calves you practically have to hitch them up like a pair of heavy panty hose. As tight as they are though within an hour you are constantly hitching them up because the butt and waist have stretched out and they get pulled down each step you take. If you have a belly roll the jeans roll down and under that belly and hike it up like a lift bra making your bulge spill over the waist of the jeans while the rest of the jeans are sagging towards the bottom of your bum. Day after day after day... So I began looking for a pair of jeans that you don't have to do a snake dance to get on and that were only cotton - nothing but cotton. It seems only men get that luxury and that may be on the way out because the spandex is making its way into men's jeans too. Who wants to stop and wiggle back into your jeans tens of times a day or wear an extra long and loose shirt so you don't have to embarrass yourself pulling them up and let the shirt deal with the butt crack peeking out? Not me. I didn't find 100% cotton women's jeans, these have the spandex in them too. However they are a very flatteringly high waisted and loose in the hip and thigh so when the stretch out inevitably happens your thighs and butt aren't dragging them down. Positives for this jean: The high waist is flattering due to better tummy control/ roll control. There is no muffin top to be found in these. You can wear better fitted shirts because you don't have to worry about your tummy rolling out or your butt crack to make an badly timed appearance. Unlike men with bellies, I do not want to size my waist at the hip under the belly and wear a belt to keep them up. Ewww. Another positive is that the wide leg drops at the hip which is flattering to your behind and makes the appearance of wide hips or saddle bags. You do not have to fight to get in or out of these jeans, which is not only pleasant but is an added safety feature. Negatives: They still have spandex and the waist does loosen. I wear a size 14 and these seem a little big to me. I would suggest buying your size and the next lowest size. Try the lower size on for a day and see if the stretch into comfort and not into needing a belt. It's too late to return mine, but I am ok with that because I like them that much. The other thing I do not like is they run long. I am 5' 5 1/2 and they drag on the ground. They have a very wide hem so hemming them up would be a task but doable. I am a child of the 70's and back then we just let them drag and fray and that was part of the big bell experience. I am retired and don't have a fashion statement to make so I just let them drag, or roll them up once. For thinner girls other than the stretch out they will look and feel awesome and if your long legged you have found your perfect jeans.

Finally a pair of jeans that are truly high rise. I ordered a small and I am 5'7" 130 lbs. I have a long rise and so many high rise jeans aren't really high rise on me. These jeans have a 12" rise and are 30" long. They are perfect with a crop top and flat sandals for summer. I ordered "blue" and received "light blue". I'm a little confused by the colors but the ones I received have just the right amount of fading in the right places - not big white splotches on the behind as some of the jeans seem to have in the pictures. They are cute, comfortable and flattering. I'll probably order more. UPDATE: I ordered 2 more pairs of the same color and size and they weren't the same as the first pair I received. One fit much larger in the hips and there was to much material bunching in the crotch area and the second pair were slightly larger and the fading was horrible - large white spots on the back upper thighs. Not attractive at all. I guess i got lucky with the first pair. Still very disappointed there's no consistency and I'll be sending these back. If I find jeans I like, I typically get two pairs. Oh well, I'll need to be satisfied with one pair this time. UPDATE #2: I decided to give it one more attempt to get the same jeans I received the first time and it worked! It took 3 additional pairs (I sent two pairs back) to get jeans that were like the first pair that I love. They are the same flattering fit and color (with no weird overly faded splotches)! So happy I gave it one more try.

Im 5 foot and a petite teenager. My waist is a 32 to 33 and I bought these jeans in a size XS! I will say the waist is very nice for that baggy fit, however in size length, the pants are too long for me. They go a tiny bit over my feet with shoes on, and completely cover them without shoes. If youre a shorter girl, take note that these would fit better with platformed shoes. Other than that, i love these jeans. They are comfy and i will definitely be buying more!

Looking for comfy jeans I recommend size up if you like a loose casual fit which is what I did. Use them everyday quality is perfect ripped areas look stylish wearability is perfect wash and dry no shrinking zipper is perfect no bad smell. Will buy more if come in more colors.

These jeans fit so great standing up! I went with another reviewer and tried the xs (my regular size) even though my weight is high for that size in their chart. The waist pulls me in just a touch, perfect, the butt looks great, and the length is even right, around 30" inseam. They're awesome. Then I needed to make sure they worked for sitting down, since I sit at a desk all day. No! The rise is not long enough for sitting. They pinch and squash your crotch when you sit down, if you order the size that fits well. That's not going to work. I don't want them to fit baggy, because this size looks so good when Im standing up. My high schooler also asked me why my pants were so baggy in the legs. Husband didnt like that either. I tried the light blue with crossover waistband as well as the black with regular zip up, and I prefer the crossover waist band. It looks and feels sexy to have more curves.

These are super cute, and I wear them a lot. I typically wear size 4 and am 5’5, so I got medium and the fit and length was perfect. All that being said, the waist band is kind of stiff, with not much give and is kind of scratchy. I wear them with a body suit or tucked in T to avoid that. So if you have princess in the pea syndrome like me, or hover between sizes, size up. Also probably not going to be great for my tall Queens, if I was any taller or wear tall shoes they would be to short.
