I bought my size, but they kept slipping off, so it was hard to walk naturally. The insole is pillowy, but offers no arch support. They look exactly as pictured; the color is not garish -- soft gold that works well as a neutral. If they fit your feet, they'll be a terrific value. I'm going to try insoles or heel pads, which will raise the cost considerably (because I really like the color, & skimmers are my summer go-to shoe).
