I liked that the toe box was taller than I expected because I was planning to use memory foam soles in them and on other shoes like this I’ve had to cut the toes off of the soles so mine don’t get squished. I bought these to wear to work so I wouldn't mess up my real Chucks. The fabric was a little stiff the first day, but since then they've been great. Comfy and super cool. One thing: I'm a solid 7 1/2, but I wear an 8 in Converse. I ordered these in an 8, and they are slightly smaller than my size 8 Converse, so definitely order up if you have any doubts about size. I haven't been able to wear Converse for years because I have wide feet. I saw these and figured I'd give them a try considering the price was so cheap. I was concerned they'd be poorly made and/or uncomfortable, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the opposite was true! These don't squish my feet (they're even comfortable after I got blisters from my hiking boots) and the quality is comparable to Converse. I bought these in red and black - I've only worn the red so far but the black look just as high quality. They feel like they'll hold up for quite a while, and the red color is really vibrant!
