100% worth for any harry potter fan. I am an adult and stand at about 5'8 1/2 and weigh around 150 lbs. I purchased the Slytherin extra large and it fits perfectly, the color is amazing. The hood is quite large and of course it feels more for aesthetics, I always keep it down. I use for school events, Halloween, etc.. Also a note is that most people pair it with the tie and dress shirt, however I believe any Harry Potter shirt goes great with it. I have a herbology long sleeve shirt I use. Great quality, thin but not too thin however it does run huge, recommend sizing down. (I am a true M/L size and this is a medium and I wish I got a size small.) I am 5ft4 and it’s good length on me, will be good to walk around and be comfortable.

I bought this Harry Potter robe as a birthday surprise for my daughter, who was in her full Harry Potter phase at the time. She wore it for her party, and I have to say the quality was impressive! It’s definitely not one of those cheap Halloween costumes. The fabric feels thick and soft, the colors are rich, and the crest on the front looks authentic, just like something out of the movies. It fit her really well (I got the teen size), and she was absolutely thrilled wearing it for the entire day. We paired it with a wand and she looked like she stepped right out of Hogwarts. That said, she’s since moved on from Harry Potter (kids, right?), so it hasn’t seen much use since. But for a birthday, Halloween, or even a school event, this robe totally delivers. If your kid is into the wizarding world, they'll love it, just be prepared for the fandom to possibly be a phase! ... show more

Honestly, we were expecting a much better quality than what this is. The edges are all just serger finished. The hood doesn’t stay up and there wouldn’t be a way to modify it that I can see to make it stay. This is what I would call a 50 yard faker. It’s not worth the $43 it cost. I will be returning this and buying some fabric to make one myself. If you have any sewing skills - or even glue-gun or iron on bonding tape skills- just spend less money on some black fabric and a little bit of colored fabric to match your house color, watch a YouTube tutorial (or three) and make your own. Great quality robe for the inexpensive price! I wore this to the Harry Potter Warner Brothers Studio in London and received soooo many compliments! The robe was oversized and very light.
