  • Perfect set of training wheels.
Size: Universal 50cc Bikes
Absolutely perfect for a my 5 year old daughter. If you have any mechanical inclination this is simple to install and works great. Being universal, it should fit most gas or e-bikes. I installed it on a Jetson E-dirt bike and made it work as the foot peg holes are slightly smaller than the supplied hardware, so I just used some different bolts and she was riding in no time. ... show more

  • Works like a champ
Size: Universal 50cc Bikes
I got my 5 1/2 year old grandson a X-PRO 40cc Kids Dirt Bike Mini Pit Bike Dirt Bikes Motorcycle Gas Power Bike Off Road,Red and attached these wheels to it and he was off like a champ. It uses the foot peg bolts, but the ones on the bike are too short. It comes with longer ones that are a bit too fat, so we had to drill out the existing holes slightly, but it's thin metal so any metal drill bit will do it. Not hard. Then it bolted right on and works like a champ. Super stable. Because our farm is very sandy and bicycles don't really work well in sand, this kid had never ridden any bicycle. This was his first riding experience. He has no concept of balance forces when you make tight turns, these wheels made all that not matter at all. He tears around and is completely stable. ... show more

  • Work great
Size: Universal 50cc Bikes
Assembly was a bit of a hassle, but once installed, they are very sturdy and make it very difficult to tip the bike over. We installed these on my daughter’s 49cc bike, and they fit well and are definitely worth the time and money.

  • Fits great and works as expected
Size: Universal 50cc Bikes
The install was easy. For a crf50, you have to remove the foot pegs but reinstall and you don’t have to remove the kickstand which is a plus. Last set I had, I had to remove the stand and store it to keep up with it to reinstall later. These work good and once you torque them down they stay in place pretty well. You can adjust the wheels higher or lower pretty easily also which is a plus. Overall I like these and wish I had bought this set the first time a kid needed training wheels. Im completely satisfied with them and recommend them. ... show more

  • Perfect to get the kids ready with confidence
Size: Universal 50cc Bikes
This is a good set of 'training' wheels. They are strong enough to help keep the smaller kids upright until they get enough confidence to remove them. Certainly they are not heavy enough to be taking hills or whatnot, but for flat field training they are perfect. The instructions could use a bit more detail but they are clear enough. I see a lot of reviewers broke the saddle clamps. The instructions clearly state 12-13 foot pounds to keep them from breaking. I know not everyone has torque wrenches. I got everything in place but only snugged the bolts. Then I rotated the axel until the wheels were about 2 inches off the ground and tightened the bolts evenly. As soon as they were close to tight, I pulled up on the axel and only tightened them until I could no longer rotate it by hand and then gave each one a half of a turn tighter. I know the cotter pin 'stops' for the tires seem cheesy but we have seen no issues with them holding up. My Son and Grandson have been playing on it for days now and I have not had to retighten even once. Now, in my mind that means they are not making a lot of contact with the ground which is a great sign they already have good balance. Still, all in all I feel much better having added these for the Grandson. For my own kids I just through them in the field and watched them fall over and over until they mastered it. (might explain a few things) This is for my piece of mind as much as theirs. One more note. I see the pictures show the axel bend toward the front. Not a good idea. If they did bite into the ground that could cause the bike to hop into the air a bit. I angled mine to the rear for safety. ... show more

  • Good but not great by any means.
Size: Universal 50cc Bikes
I'll start by saying the training wheels are working! I have them on my kid's mini bike and they keep her from falling down. That being said, I think they will easily last long enough for her to not need them any more. My first complaint is that the instructions are garbage. Now, I'm decently mechanically inclined, but a good set of instructions are always appreciated to ensure that things are done properly. Step 1 open box, step 2 attach center rod to foot pegs loosely, step 3 install wheels, step 4 tighten bolts. no naming of items, no suggestions for different model bikes, and no torque specs. I ended up cracking one of the attachment braces (that are cast iron) Way before I thought it should have been in danger. After it broke I just tightened it down as much as it could and It seems to do well as 2 pieces instead of the intended 1. I had my wife (about 100 pounds) ride it around before I was going to let me daughter on it. it seemed to do fine. This is obviously a low quality item, don't expect much, But, I feel it will do it's job until my daughter is confident enough to ride with out them. Have a good day guys! ... show more

  • Game changer!
Size: Universal 50cc Bikes
My kiddo had the style that bolts to the bottom of the motorcycle but the bolts tend to strip out after going on bumps, rocks, etc. Thea ones cannot do that because of the way they were designed. Genius idea to put them on the pegs and allow for the adjustment of high high the wheels sit off the ground. This allows the kiddos to learn to lean more and more with each adjustment which will help them when it is time to take them off. I only wish I discovered these sooner with my older child. Well made and very easy to install. Would definitely recommend to others. ... show more
