I am writing the same review for the Hape doll house furniture. You can purchase one set or several sets,and the families that fit Hape doll house furniture are reflective of the real world/school my granddaughter attends.. My granddaughter loves all the Hape doll house furniture. Beautifully made. Can use without the doll house--just clear off a book shelf or shelves, use shoe boxes, or just table top. I purchased one half yard of green felt as a folding play cloth. Purchased some plastic shoe boxes to store and carry whatever is chosen as the most favorite pieces/item. Great when friends come over and they interact with pieces. The doll house--which I plan to buy is simply amazing--open on all four sides to allow multiple kids to play at the same time easily. ... show more

Good quality. Perfect size for LOL dolls. Gave this set 4 stars because it came without the floor lamp that was supposed to be included in the set. All of the other sets I got had plastic wrap around them when I pulled them out of the box and had all of the pieces. This set did not have the plastic wrap on it and was missing the lamp--like it had been returned and then resold without making sure all of the pieces were there. ... show more

My daughter (9-1/2) at first was quite impressed. I think it was more that she was a little disappointed with the dolls I got her with this set as opposed to this set itself. She wasn't keen, though, on the plain or orange colors - the first thing she did when she took them to the playroom was get out her paints and change the colors to something more to her own liking. That is a good thing about this set - very easy to change the colors. One thing that was quite annoying was that the little yellow pillows come with HUGE, long tags on them - the tags are much larger than the pillow. Simple enough to cut off, but be sure you (the adult or older child) does it or the seam could easily be cut/torn. ... show more

    • Perfect Addition to the Hape Doll House!
We got this to along with serval other furniture sets to go with the Hape Doll House we got our daughter. We looked at many doll houses before settling on this one. I wanted one that was wood and would look nice in a play room or in our living room. (We move often and were looking for flexibility). We got this for our 3 ½ year old for Christmas and she was just the right age for it. She was fully into pretend paly and ready for a doll house. There were some very small pieces included in some of the other furniture sets that I do remove when younger children are around though.     • Super cute Living Room Set - Especially the Fire Place!
We really love this Family Room Set Hape. It is simple but very attractive. The fireplace is excellent as is the choice to use felt fabric for the rugs. They sit better than the thin cheap fabric used by other brands. I have purchased most of their sets to furnish a Ryans Room Wooden Doll House. This and the other available room sets are well thought out in terms of what they include. The color pallet is alss attractive. It is neither garish nor pale neutrals. The colors chosen appeal to both boys and girls alike. I painted panels of the Ryans Room "Home is Where the Heart" is House (taking inspiration from the Hape All Seasons Doll House) as i think it better sets off the furniture sets. ... show more

Bought this media room set to use with the brand new wooden Ikea Flisat dollhouse. I was concerned about whether or not the scale of the furniture would work with the dollhouse since they're not made to go together, but they work great! All the little details (like the plant, cushions, and lamp) are so realistic and cute. We're giving this to my daughter (assembled inside the dollhouse) for her 2nd birthday on Saturday and I can't wait to see her reaction! I'll try to update once she's had a chance to play around with it for a while. ... show more
