This cabinet meets all of the claims in the item description. It is easy to assemble. Everything is laid out in pictures and the parts are labeled. We reviewed the instructions before we assembled the unit. We followed the advice of one of the other reviewers. We determined where we were going to mount the unit. We then took the one support piece that is part of the back of the cabinet that is used to mount the unit to the wall and determined how we were going to mount it. We used it as a guide for the holes in the wall. We used a level to insure the cabinet would be level when it was completed. We went ahead and placed the anchors in the wall. Our wall is not solid enough for the anchors that were sent, so we used a couple of basic sheet rock anchors that screw into the wall. This is a common problem for us. We then assembled the cabinet per the instructions including the support piece we used as a guide for the holes. Before attaching the doors we mounted it to the wall. There were two of us. One person might be able to do it, but it would be awkward. We then attached the doors. {The hinges for the door are very adjustable.} I noted this because several reviews said they could not get the doors to close together. Each hinge has adjustment screws. It does not take long to make the needed adjustments to get each door located and oriented exactly where you want it. The cabinet looks like it cost much more than it did and the doors work as though they were on a more expensive cabinet. This is the third cabinet we have purchased through Amazon from a Chinese company. All three have been very well made and an excellent value. ... show more

When our old cereal/catchall cabinet bit the dust, I got it in my head I’d build I’d build a new one. How hard can it be? I’ve built stuff. Yeah...I’m older now, got a broken rib, mom of some teens who interrupt me every ten minutes and I have no idea where half my tools are, but I could build one for cheaper than buying one, right? Off to Lowe’s. Two days later, 100 bucks spent on wood, stain, 5 different types of hinges, screws, new saw blade...I’ll attach a photo of the mess that’s living on my deck now. Also, I dropped one of the doors on my toe, and I’ll probably lose that nail. So my advice to weekend warrior moms thinking they might save a few bucks by DIYing their own cabinet- trust me, you probably won’t, and you might lose a toenail. As for this cabinet, aside from the box being heavy (although my teenage sons swear it wasn’t) this was a snap to put together. I used a little wood glue for the pegs, and swapped out the hinge on one side for a 175 degree wide swing euro full face hinge (bought on here for $15) because we needed one door to open really wide. The provided hinges only allow the doors to open straight out from the unit, not swing wide back. I had to widen the cup to do it, no problem with a dremmel, and I haven’t lined the doors up perfectly but my rib was screaming at me by then. It pressed board, so you’re not going to retire with this thing, but it’s well worth the $50. Everything was packed well, and labeled perfectly. The instructions are just pictures but it’s really not complicated. Everything fit well, slotted right together, and I added some flush mount hangers to the back. I would suggest using wood glue for the pegs and backboard, just running a thin bead in the groove to help secure it since it’s really thin. Or you could cut some thin plyboard and drop it in. The whole thing only took 2 hours, longest part was arguing with the husband while he was hanging it. I’m very happy I bought this. Just wish I’d done it to begin with! I’m docking one star because I’d prefer wider range in the hinges. ... show more

This cabinet was the perfect dimensions for the space i wanted to fill and at the right price so I purchased it. It was made of very thin and cheap particle board. To give context, it made my IKEA cabinet look like a luxury product. As soon as I opened the box, I noticed the first piece had an 8 inch crack on one side. As I pulled it out of the box, I realized it was the back piece that was folded in half so when I opened it up, the crack was on the other half as well creating a wide arc right through the middle. The back piece was even thinner than the rest of the pieces, about the thickness of cardboard but I had such a hard time finding a cabinet with the dimensions I needed, I decided to look past the giant crack and just deal with it. But then I kept unboxing and came across a side 2X4 piece that had an entire corner broken clean off. That I couldn't do anything about since I needed that corner to attach to the other piece of the cabinet. The box was in good condition which leads me to believe it was broken when packed. I found these cabinets by the grace of God! I use them in my spa room for storage. I needed to have a contractor install them and put them together it took them about two hours and cost me 250$ but it was worth it ! For my facial room I have two cabinets that I purchased from IKEA, almost 500$ ! IKEA cabinets you need to purchase every piece individually , the doors, the hinges, a giant metal piece for the wall that the cabinets secure onto and also needs to be cut with a saw… and I paid someone 200$ for installation and building. Let’s just say these cabinets come with all of the pieces the contractors did use their own nails to secure and we used some brackets that I had from the previous shelves. A lot of reviews are saying these are flimsy but if you have someone install them correctly and reinforce them it’s 150% worth it! Not flimsy AT ALL ! ... show more

It’s a nice cabinet but unfortunately it only lasted me about 6 months before it ended up breaking. The top completely detached from the rest of the cabinet and everything fell. I would recommend if you are not planning to put much in it, it’s not durable enough to hold much weight!
