  • Good price for Hankook tire.
Size: 225/60R16
Fantastic, best I've ever seen for stopping and starting on slick, icy Northwest roads. Loved them at the intersection stop lights. They were real good on light snow also but when it comes to a few inches of snow or more they fill up and dont release snow from the tread. You wont even see a tread patern track left behind you. They still got me up my hilled driveway ok in 4" to 6" of winter snow but they spin a bit as they trudged their way through. They go through it all but you would not want to make corners fast in real heavy snow either. They seem to do the job well of keeping you going forward back and forth to work, and down the snowy freeways but hydroplane slightly over the heavier snow. I like the hankook IPikes I had previously with a bit wider spacing in the tread for the heavier snow that worked well through all winter conditions. Those released snow and left the exact tire pattern behind you. I guess thats why these tires are called the IcePikes, and beleive me they are awesome for the slick ice and light snow conditions I described above. I have lived in the true wintery Northwest all my life. I've worn through many sets of snow tires. I think these are the absolute best for the ice/light snow conditions I believe they were made for. ... show more

  • Almost a must-have if you live anywhere it snows...
Size: 175/65R15
I have been driving in the winter snow for the vast majority of my 30 year driving "career," and although I've always wanted to put a set of dedicated snow tires on my car, I never have. Until this season. After a lot of research, I decided on these tires, due to their price, the Hankook brand name, and their aggressive looking tread pattern. I found them easy to mount, and even without balance dots, they seem to balance out with my "summer weights" in place. I should add that I did buy different sized tires than my car calls for, going with a 175/65 versus my stock 185/60s, mostly to save a few bucks overall. The day after Christmas, on a 100 mile trip through the rain, sleet, and accumulating snow, I was able to safely and confidently maintain highway speed while everyone around me had to slow down to 5 or even 10 mph under the posted speed limit. At one point, I even legally passed a county sheriff who was traveling well under the posted speed limit! They also do well around town, easily clawing their way through snow and slush, and all but eliminating the need for me to always be shoveling or blowing out my driveway after a big storm. On a clean, dry road, they do tend to wander a little bit at higher speeds, depending on the type of concrete I'm traveling on (i.e. rain grooves), but it's not in any way unnerving. At this point, I cannot comment on their longevity, but so far, I recommend these tires and would definitely buy them again. ... show more

  • They re ok on wet surfaces but still lose traction in snow
Size: 225/60R16
I didn't like the mileage decrease and traction in snow is limited but they are a good tire for larger vehicals not a front wheel drive car

  • Much less than a Bridgestone Blizzax
Size: 185/55R15
I mounted these on my Fiat 500, along with a set of four used steel wheels and TPMS sensors. I recently had a chance to try them out on some heavily snow covered streets, and my traction control lights never came on. Very sure-footed.

The media could not be loaded.

  • Excellent everyday winter tires
Size: 205/55R16
These have been so good during the past three winters on my car that we just purchased a set last year for my wife's. I have used these throughout Upstate New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts in winter conditions ranging from very mild to blizzard and have not once been let down. They (at least on my FWD lightweight hatchback) are confidence-inspiring not only because of their strong performance traction-wise, but because when they are at risk of losing grip, they communicate it clearly and make it very easy to adjust speed/driving style. I spent two decades on Blizzaks in the winters. These Hankooks do not feel like "settling" or "making do." They are all the winter tire I need, and then some. ... show more

  • Good all around tire
Size: 185/65R15
I've been running these tires for over 5 years now on my 03 Toyota corolla. I run them year round. Great tires! Good tread wear. I commute 110miles per day.
