    • Excellent tires for 2002 MR2 Spyder!
Size: 205/50R15
2002 comes stock with offset tires, smaller in the front than the rear. Cannot rotate tires, so the warranty by the manufacturer is half the miles. Followed the advice of the MR2 Toyota forum to switch to this tire, all four the same as the rear size. Worked great! Good tracking, low road noise, excellent tires! ... show more

    • Long lasting, but loud at speed

So far I have 14k miles on my set. Mounted on a 2007 Subaru Impreza. I drive 91 miles a day on these, mostly highway miles. They get great gas mileage and show very little wear on them. I also just put them through one of Utah's worst winters on record. They tear through the snow on an AWD vehicle. I purchased these knowing they were not a high-end tire. I am surprised by the life I am getting out of the set. One thing I will note is that they produce a lot of road noise between 60 and 65 mph. Luckily I commute on an interstate that is posted 75 mph. Of course, my subbie has poor noise insulation and your experience may differ from mine. I absolutely will buy another set when these wear out. ... show more

    • They were 1 year old tires, but had a great price.

Unfortunately the seller does not post the year of manufacturing, and I found no way to contact the seller. My local tire shop wanted $70 for a used temporary tire, so the $88 price tag here was still a very good price. Upon receiving the tire I realized they were manufactured 14 months ago. Which isn't great, but isn't terrible either. That's were the discount price comes in. They simply must sell their aging inventory. Still as mentioned, completely worth it for unused tires. I also used the Amazon tire mounting service with Mavis and paid $15 for balancing and mounting each tire which is a pretty good deal considering places want double that.
