Description

The Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 K120 tire is an outstanding performance tire for spirited driving of sporty high performance sports cars. Made with a high-grip silica tread compound, you can expect this tire to deliver lower rolling resistance and higher steering and handling response in wet conditions. Hankook has specially reengineered the shape of the tread grooves. This patented groove style is called Advanced Aqua Jet Design. This advanced k-technology means a big improvement in wet traction. The high density, extra strong polyester in the belts provide added stiffness under the tread that has multiply benefits, including resistance to puncture and a more stable contact patch for longer treadwear

  • Nice tires
Size: 245/40ZR18
Great looking tires have them on 2 of my classic cars.

  • Easy way to purchase good tires
Size: 245/45ZR20
If you know what tires and the size you need Amazon makes it a breeze to buy. It's easy for me because there are only a few manufacturers that even make this profile tire (255/45ZR20) with the "Z" speed rating I need, so I've been running these Hankooks for years. Buying from Amazon avoids the "this tax, that fee, extra overcharge" shenanigans the tire stores have become infamous for. You can even prepay for installation if desired. Offering excellent traction they instill confidence about handling and using your car as the designers intended, although that will diminish with age as with any tire. Tire life is fairly good, but this is on a performance car so tire life tends to be shorter because it is driven harder. I can't really speak to how they behave in weather as we don't really get much of that here in SoCal, but they hold the road when I'm caught in rain. ... show more

  • Great tires
Size: 255/40R17
These have good traction. The road noise is low. I have them on my BMW 745Li, Datsun 280Z with an LS1 engine. They are nice. Seam to last good also.

  • Sticky and reliable!
Size: 225/45ZR17
One of the best things I've ever done to my volvo v30 is replace the Goodyear eagle sports with the ventus V12s. It made the car come alive! Way more stable in the corners and I had zero problems getting them ballanced. Very little road noise and a very smooth ride are also a plus.

  • Budget tires with Premium Performance
Size: 235/35ZR19
These tires are great for the price. They offer a reasonably long treadwear life, a low price, and pretty good performance for a summer tire. No issues stopping in the rain, hydroplaning seems to be a non-issue for the most part in shallow standing water. Good traction, decent sidewall stiffness, low noise for a performance tire. The only thing I noticed is that once the tire starts aging (after a couple years of mounting), the rubber begins to harden and the tire begins to lose traction less progressively in hard cornering. This will be a non-issue for most people, but it is noticeable when pushing the cars lateral traction during spirited driving. All in all a great tire for the money. Seems to be a great balance between performance and cost. ... show more

  • Good tires and good production date.
Size: 255/40ZR18
I purchased 2 255/40R18 in Oct2024 and the production date was 4123 which means they are fairly new stock. These are great tires but they are becoming a bit more expensive now they are more recognized. I hope they stay priced fairly.
