Description

The premium touring Hankook Kinergy ST H735 all-season tires are engineered for both on and off-road conditions. Their stiffened tread blocks combine with the dual filler system to enhance grip and prolong tread life. Traction grooves provide snow traction and enable shorter braking while the specially designed sipes add biting edges for better grip on light snow. For longer tread life, these tires are constructed using abrasion-resistant rubber compound.

  • Don't Sleep on These!
Size: 225/65R17
These are excellent tires and not only for the price. Not much road noise. Smooth ride. Easy install. Strong tires. Will definitely purchase these again!

  • Solid value tire, comes in hard to find sizes
Size: 175/70R13
Really great tire for the price. Hard to find tires for 13 inch rims anymore and but these are available and actually good tires. I have to drive the car 3 miles on an old logging road to get to pavement, have put on a few thousand miles and the tires look perfect still. Pretty grippy in rain, would not trust in snow. Installed them myself by hand and it wasn't bad. ... show more

  • No Complaints
Size: 235/75R15
Bought these over a year ago for my 1996 Chevy C1500. They're great tires, ride smooth, not too much road noise, and handle bumps and potholes well. Made an immediate improvement to ride quality and for a great price.

  • Instant upgrade
Size: 215/50R17
Just got these switched onto my 2005 Pontiac Vibe. All I can say is WOW. What a difference between cheap worn out tires and good new tires. Riding on 17s, and even with a smaller sidewall, these tires were so quiet and felt the grip right away. Great value if you get them around $110. I will update this if anything goes wrong. Will buy Hankook again if they hold up nicely. ... show more

  • Excellent Tire at a Fair Price
Size: 215/55R17
Glad to see Amazon upset the tire market with these tires. These are the 2nd set purchased, one for a 2007 G35x and now a 2012 Camry SE 4-cyl (17" wheels). I'm in my 60s, worked as a tire mechanic as a young adult, and have purchased many sets of tires in my lifetime. This Hankook tire is as good as any of them, including any Michelin version out there. The tires wear and balance well. Amazon did its homework carrying this brand. For now, this is the best tire deal out there for most who just want solid OEM replacement tires. Tire Rotation Tip: 1. rotate your tires every 6,000 mi (except for the first time, do it at 3,000 mi*). Tip 2. criss-cross the tires at each rotation* (the Owners Manual tells you otherwise and my experience says otherwise). * The following assumes your vehicle's wheel alignment is within spec. If you criss-cross your tire rotation at each interval (Tip #2), each tire spins in the opposite after rotating. If this makes sense, consider brand new tires to have a ZERO directional mile count. The goal is to not allow your tires to spin more than 3,000 mi in either direction. So, that's why rotate at 3,000 mi on the first rotation interval. During the 2nd interval, after 3,000 mi of tire spinning, you're back to a ZERO directional mile count. You might as well just leave the tires alone and allow them to spin another 3,000 mi so now you have spun 3,000 mi off of the ZERO direction mile count. Hence, why you wait to rotate at 6,000mi on the 2nd thru nth intervals. Truck tires GREATLY benefit from this scheme because of the size of the rubber chunks that make up the tire. Tire "singing" is caused by the heel-toe wear on those rubber chunks and using this rotation scheme keeps the heel-toe wear equalized over time. This condition is especially prone to all-terrain tires. Use this rotation scheme and your tires will lose their voice over the wear life of your tires. For passenger vehicles with normal to smaller sized tires, you can likely get away with a 4,000mi/8,000mi scheme and not worry about tire singing. One caveat: if your vehicle's alignment is not right, forget the above. Avoid curbs and major potholes and you should be good. Tire singing is big profit for tire shops and the answer is always: "you need an alignment". That may be true. You also just may need to rotate your tires as mentioned above. Also, don't over-torque your lugs (see mfg specs and if you can't find it, use 80 ft lbs to be safe). Many tire shops will torque them to 150 lbs or more causing rotor warping. If you can learn to safely rotate tires yourself (see YouTube for tips), you can save time and money while doing it right. Last tip, inflate your tires to 35psi regardless of what your car says. It's a safe pressure that will roll with little resistance and provide even tread across the width of the tire. Plenty will argue my tire science, but, I get 90,000 mi out of my 2005 Toyota Tacoma tires and the roll as smooth and quietly at 90k as they did at ZERO mi.🙂 ... show more

  • Better than most. Worth owning
I have Kinergy 735's on my CRV, SW2, and 525i and absolutely love them. Being a long tread life tire they have good wet weather traction. Very low noise. Insanely good mileage compared to Nitto 650, Goodyear Assurances, Michelin MXV, Cooper, BFG and Yoko the only tires that I have owned in the past. The MXV's were good but tread life wasnt that great. Of course that was two decades ago. Anyways. Something happened to me that just absolutely solidified my belief in these tires. A few months ago in my CRV I was headed home late in the evening dark as heck and was driving past my local malls when a group of teenage kids just pops out from the median into my lane. Obstructed by the median art work, the darkness of the night I thought for sure I was going to hit them. At least two of them. So as they froze like dang deer often do I slam the brakes and in the midst of pushing the horn I manage to turn the wipers on, turned the headlights off and high beam them all at the same time. Never did get to the horn. At a speed of 35mph I manage to stop about ten yards short from where they were. Without the tires ever having lost traction or the brakes locking up. Did I mention the road way was wet from having rained earlier in the day. I could credit the brake pads or the vehicle itself but I feel it was primarily the Hankook kinergys that saved those kids that day. Even with 20k miles on them at the time they did their job. And the kids they just trot right along. La la la la. Learn how to freakin push a crosswalk button dangit. ... show more
