Hard to find a v neck cotton shirt that fits my torso length (petite, short waisted), yet isn't overly long or cropped at the waist. The trend of wide and cropped shirts needs to end, I want to cover my middle age mom belly and wear leggings without my rear on complete display. However, tunics can appear as circus tent frumpy or cut very narrow. And cotton? rare indeed in the sea of polyester.. did I mention middle age, hello... hot flashes? I have this in a variety of colors (as well as the thin zip front hoodies), my one criticism is they do shrink. The sleeves become short, almost cap sleeve length. Oddly, each color shrinks differently - the pink and green not so much, the lighter blue the sleeves shrunk a lot more. They won't last long, varying rates of fading (again different with each color -- gentle cold and medium dryer) nothing does now. I will keep buying them anyway. ... show more

The boxy style and the thin, slightly transparent fabric are not flattering. I sized up expecting the t-shirt to get smaller after machine washing and drying, but it shrank in length and not width. It is huge in the shoulders and waist but barely reaches my hips. On the positive side, it is 100% cotton, doesn't cost much, is well-made in Honduras, and gets softer the more you wash it. It makes a very comfortable pajama top, but you'll definitely want to wear a robe over it when you leave your bedroom. ... show more

I was immediately impressed with the lovely feel of this fabric. The white shirt is see through, very light and breathable. Comfortable enough to wear under a tank or sleeveless t-shirt dress without being too hot. Initially I bought this in 3 colors on sale in February. Today, August 13th, after getting around to wearing it all day (it's 84 degrees and humid as hell) I bought a fourth color, even though it wasn't on sale. Haines is my go to brand for comfortable fabrics perfect for Hawaii's hot, humid or cold weather at wonderfully reasonable prices! I am 5'3" at 125 pounds, full chested and very happy a Haines medium fits perfectly without being clingy. ... show more

My bust is 114 cm (almost 45 in) so I bought the 2X since the measurements said that's what would fit, but it swallows me up. I thought "ok maybe it just needs to shrink in the dryer, it's cotton and cotton shrinks" but nope, still huge. I could likely fit into a normal Large, which according to the measurements is WAY too small for me. It's also very thin and see-through, so if you bought white like I did, you have to wear a black bra underneath so it doesn't show, which sucks but at the price, I guess I should have seen it coming. Overall worth the purchase, just be ready to exchange for a smaller size if you go by the chart. ... show more
