I grabbed 3 of these when they were listed for $5 a piece. My mistake for not completely reading the description. Missed "shirred" somehow. Actually I had never heard that word before! Lol. I automatically thought the shirts would be wonderful because of the Hanes lable. "Hanes is a Classic American Company that makes standard and reliable underwear. Hanes is most widely known for their basic white collection. A standard in everyone's drawer. Hanes is made in the USA but sold around the world." These shirts were NOT MADE IN THE USA ( which it states in description) . They're not even 100% cotton. Again, my bad not fully reading the description. They're itchy. They make me sweat and I've already donated them. Guess I should've only washed one and returned the others. My fault so maybe I shouldn't have given them such a lousy review?

The material is soft and comfortable. It fits great through the shoulders and bust. My mid-section is a whole nother story! This is a top that will only be used under something else. It's very form fitting - not a good look for a fat old granny :-( .

I don't like tight fitting clothes. I love this shirt because it is long, it does not fit tight around the middle,it is lightweight but not shear, the neckline is flattering for my neck but is not too low, & the shirring brings it steps up from a plain v-neck tee shirt. The shirring is a feminine touch. You can wear this shirt with so many types of bottom clothing. The shirt washes & dries well. I've had this for a little while now & it does not pill & it still looks good. I'll buy more colors soon.

I have ordered other Hanes tops that shrunk a little bit after washing and drying. This top says they are pre-shrunk but these tops shrunk a little bit as well. Turned out fine for me because I ordered a large. I normally wear medium to large sizes for tops (8-10 U S size). Also when I first got it and tried it on it was a little rough and itchy on the inside but after washing and drying with fabric softener they are fine. Glad for that! Itchy clothes are not good.

So I got this tshirt and it fit ok but washed it and now it’s two sizes small and shorter :/ and has a hole now. I guess you get what you pay for but never got to wear it

You get what you pay for. I took the 71% "Fits As Expected" graph seriously, and now I'm seriously disappointed by the three shirts I bought. They shrink up TERRIBLY in the wash and become both shorter and tighter. To get the fit I wanted, I would have had to order two sizes up from my regular size, but that wasn't an option. To wear anyplace but around the house, I'd have to give them a quick ironing because the cheap cotton looks very, very casual, a look I'd call "slept in." Really awful shirts. I do not recommend them at all.

Very soft, and really long (a plus for me) but runs very large--I'm 36-29-40 and it was way too large. Will reorder as a medium. EDIT: I chucked it in to the washer and dry on "hot" with my towels--shrank right down to a perfect fit. Not as long anymore but much better.

Update: Don’t waste your money. The underarm came apart after first time wearing, second time washing. These are poor quality. I’m 1 for 3 on these, and the one I have that isn’t defective hasn’t been worn yet. I really like the look of this shirt. Very flattering. The first one I ordered had a small hole on the fabric under the arm, but they quickly sent a replacement. The only reason for 4 stars is the ironing. Once washed, it wrinkles a lot more than other fabrics. Even after ironing, it still looks a bit wrinkled.
