I bought them to replace old worn out leggings. They are more durable with a better fit and can be worn out in public modestly in comparison to leggings. I started out with 2 pairs in the Heather Jupiter Blue, size medium. Later ordered an additional 3 pairs. My waist size is approx. 111 cm (44 inches) and height approx 5'5. They fit perfectly with room for movement. They will still fit well with some weight adjusting, up or down. Super soft. Comfortable, wide, gentle waistband with drawstring is nice! Best of all, these taper nicely so that if most of your weight is in the stomach, you're not left with billowing fabric around thighs and legs. They're actually flattering enough to be fine for running errands, or casual wear. The side seam on legs is prominent, that is, the stitching is visible (like top-stitching?), but the thread color blends well with the fabric, and I'm fine with it. (see pic) The fabric is on the thin side, but very soft and comfortable against the skin. Reminds me of some Lululemon joggers from a few years back. I ordered another pair right away - they were so comfy. Size Medium feels perfect for me, at 5'6"' and 136 lbs (have to use drawstring - there is ample room in waistband). ... show more

I read a few reviews that warned these were giantly oversized compared to the size guide. But 2/3 of people my height and weight said they were perfect—at THREE different sizes. My waist is nearly as big as my hips, so I bought according to the size guide. I had a good 6-7” extra at the waist, even more at the hips. I expected they’d be too long but they stayed on my ankles, so that minor inconvenience was fine. There is no juniper or green tone. They’re blue heather. Pretty color. They are exquisitely soft and comfortable. I bought them for fall camping in the Midwest, but if the size large fits me better, I’d happily wear them to run errands. The fit in the legs was nice. Neither too snug nor too loose. I am not hip, rear, or thigh heavy—just apple shaped with a large waist. Order down! I was scared to. The max waist of the large is 5” smaller than my actual waist, but the waist of the XL was at least 5” bigger than the max stated in the size guide. If the L is also 5” bigger, it’ll fit me fine. An exchange is in progress. I’ll update this when I get my replacement. I really want them to work. If they do, I’ll likely buy a second pair to wear around the house and errands. I’ve lost over 50 lbs and have no long pants of any kind that fit!!! ... show more

The most comfortable pair of “sweats” I own. I say sweats because these are not like those heavy old sweats that weighed you down. They are light weight but keep you warm. Yet, you can wear them on warmer 70 degree days in Florida. I love the pockets to keep keys when walking my dog. Just a great pair of pants. Apparently I have long legs considering all the other reviews about them being really long? Ran a little large, medium was way too big and even the size small I needed the drawstring to cinch tighter. Length was perfect for what I like though, but might be a touch long for other people used to crop leggings and such. Loved the fabric and that the ankle cuffs were not tight.
