The only downside: this t-shirt runs large, so I would suggest that you order it in a size smaller than you normally wear. Does it shrink? No. It doesn't shrink - I tried to shrink it. That's a good thing if you order the right size. Is it soft: Absolutely. It's soft and feels great. Is it sheer? Yes. It's almost too sheer for me, but some people might like the sheerness. I really like the soft feel of the fabric. This shirt is very comfortable to wear especially in warm weather. It fits nice. I’m 5’6”, 150 lbs and bought a size L. The shirt is a little tapered but it’s not snug or tight, which I like.

Tee shirt is as I expected. I washed it and dried it for a short time in the drier so as not to risk shrinking it. However, it was still somewhat wrinkled. It could use an ironing, but I did not.
